I was just playing a little Xenoblade and I felt it looked different but when I hit the info button on my remote it said 1080p I guess that is the signal the Wii U is sending my TV but my TV is a 720p plasma
I went back and set my Wii U at 720p
I am not sure what the difference is when between the two when it is an SD Wii game being sent at 1080p to a 720p TV all I know is using the same plama tv on my Wii it was getting an SD signal just fine.
I am not really sure what looks better without taking some pics
Does anyone know if it is best to send the higher signal to the TV or the same level as the TV?
maybe I should even set my Wii U to SD when playing Wii games?

Another question - is there any way to delete certain Wii-U channels? I have no use for the Hulu Plus or Amazon video channels as they aren't available in Canada.
I thought Skyward Sword looks a lot better than the Wii version. The graphics look sharper and crisper than the blurriness of the Wii version.

I would set the Wii U to 720P if that's the native resolution of the TV.
Don't bother changing the Wii U to SD. You'd want the Wii U to upscale to 720p rather than your TV.. It seems to be better at it than most TV scalers.

I have those.
I also have a dot that won't come off. My stylus catches on it as well, so it might be a tiny crack.
I don't want to go through the trouble of getting a new GamePad, though.
I'm just hoping its not something thats gonna damage the gamepad in the future.

Xenoblade was the last game I truly enjoyed so it may have spoiled me for this Zelda.
Still I am a Zelda fan got to play it.

Hope you like it. It's personally my favorite of the 3D Zeldas, but it's definitely a love or hate game.

there should be a decrease in loading times, but probably not very significant.
the optical drive has a read speed of 22.5 MB/s, vs. a typical USB 2.0 drive being around 25-27 MB/s.
If you have a top of the line USB 2.0 drive (the kind that does 30+ MB/s) it should be noticeable.
That seems like the case for most of the 3D Zelda games.
I know a lot of Zelda fans who really disliked Majoras, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and this game. Personally i am not a fan of Majoras or OOT, or Twilight but i loved Wind Waker. People call me crazy but other then WW i am just not a fan of 3D zelda. One day i will play Skyward Sword but as of now i just don't have a real interest in it, mainly because i HATE motion controls, i can't stand using the wiimote.

It is the survey that you get if your bought a Wii U Black system. You sign up for Club Nintendo and I guess you get discounts and such for being a premium member. Not sure of all the exact details. But after you register, you end up getting a survey that gives you more points.
I am sure someone can explain it better because I did not see nothing in the box that talks about it other than the sticker on the box of the unit.

I respectfully disagree that it's "horrible.". Most fun I've had with a game local multiplayer in years.
Well, to be honest, Nintendo Land's true potential really shines during multiplayer.
Not even DK's Crash Course and Yoshi's Fruit Cart? Those games are freakin' rad.
Balloon Trip is ok, I like the presentation more than the swipe gameplay. Haven't played the other three as yet.
I hope you understand what upscale means or you'll be disappointed (ie. it's not like Dolphin).

It is available from the "Wii Menu" right now.
