JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - 01
Damn, that must be easily among the most cinematic episodes of anime I've seen. Good stuff.
Really? I like Jojo TV, but the production values are too low to call it cinematic. Unless you watched the OVA instead.
Girls und Panzer
The reasons are many and stupid.
No, the reason is one - in this universe "tankery" is seen as a feminine art - and it's awesome.
After having watched Silver Spoon I realised it's the sort of thing I want to watch right now, but alas, I've finished it. Anyone have anything to suggest that's similar to that and Barakamon?
Though maybe it'd be better if the series has a tad more "drama", because in those two series almost nothing ever goes wrong.
I don't know how much drama you're looking for; I felt Silver Spoon had quite enough drama, between the killing of Pork Bowl in the first season and especially the family and financial troubles going on in the second season. At any rate, there aren't too many anime I can't think of with a focus on a rural/agricultural setting (Moyashimon, sort of), but anime with a somewhat similar vibe (working mostly on instinct here) that you might be interested in:
