Sorry, I've just woke up and I've not consumed tea yet, therefore my brain isn't working at full capacity.
Basically, though, I think that they're way too forthcoming about details of anime productions in advance, and it tends to run counter to the way that they actually structure the actual shows in terms of when the show actually expects you to know or expect something - the show itself endeavouring to hold-back information that's been in the public domain for weeks or months. It just ends up resulting in something that's frustrating to watch, really.
It's why I tend to try and avoid pretty much all promotional material outside of maybe the first trailer or so - certainly, I don't go chasing the extended episode previews that get posted on the interwebs on a weekly basis (because why do I want to spoil something I'm going to watch anyway?).
Some studios obviously handle this stuff a lot better than others - KyoAni tend not to let too much slip out in advance, and Sunrise has actively trolled it's audience using built-up expectations before.
I just get annoyed sometimes when some people (not pointing fingers at anyone here, by the way!) decide to mentally collate every available piece of information about a show and proceed to steam-roller into conversations with information that the show hasn't actually revealed yet, but then again, I get annoyed with a lot of fandom a lot of the time.
