They will go after it starting tomorrow and the stock price gets slammed a bit
That's a good point actually.
I have a feeling that this will only be the start of fallout from this film bombing.

Well, you already know I don't assume much from Whedon.
I guess we'll find out once the BR hits, but I can pretty much imagine how that scene will play out fairly well:
They meet, she's elated to see him, he's elated to see her, cue witty joke about how he's still young and she's old, they finally get that dance, end scene.
*yawn*
so you're gonna have to buy the most expensive version to get a non-shitty cover:

GAF is finally realizing the box office is way more interesting than NPD. Full data every fucking day!The true thread.
It wasn't THAT long ago these were lucky to reach over 2 pages. What happened? The avengers made people interested or something?
I get why they did it for the poster but now everyone and their dog has seen it, I want a Blu-Ray cover where Iron Man has his damn helmet on.
Ah the old segment collage. Cos it worked so well for Matrix 3

if you are paying RJD $50 million to be in your movie you might as well put his face on the cover. They'll put the Iron Man helmet on for Avengers 2 when RJD drops out for a contract dispute and they replace him with Ryan Reynolds.
They could've at least had his helmet on with the masked flipped up to show Downey's face.
Garbage.so you're gonna have to buy the most expensive version to get a non-shitty cover:

At this point I knew WB finally quit on the franchise.
Pfft, being handed the information is no fun.GAF is finally realizing the box office is way more interesting than NPD. Full data every fucking day!

Look at all the anarchy Joker's Son caused.
Why does everyone call him that?
he thinks JGL in The Dark Rises is Joker's son.
Came in here to say that. Too bad about Taylor's career, though. I heard McDonalds is hiring.lol funny title
There aren't enough :lol's in the world.he thinks JGL in The Dark Rises is Joker's son.
I'm sort of surprised that we haven't heard any talk of a continuation or (shudder) reboot of The Matrix from the studio. Even if it would likely not be directed by the Wachowski siblings.
Of course the fact that Joel Silver has fallen out of favour with WB brass and Wachowskis have moved onto another sci-fi project at WB probably speaks volumes.
It's been ten years?! I feel so old.I'm skeptical of MiB3. There was a significant drop between the first and second after only a 5 year gap. Are audiences clamoring for more in the series after a 10 year gap? It may still open well because of Memorial Day weekend, but I think it may underperform.

A reboot is more likely than a sequel. I have little doubt it will happen sooner or later.
edit: a reboot wouldn't be all that bad. It could start with the Second Renaissance.
Well, they could reboot but the fact is canon-wise going by the MMO the Matrix's cycle restarts or whatever because Neo isn't truly dead. Lord knows if they did a sequel they'd go that route instead of showing the Second Renaissance in a non-anime way.
