How is that relevant?
Maybe she's just as much to blame as they are?I disagree:
Sounds to me like they have a pretty big part in her death.

Second degree? Fuck that, they all need to be put away forever. Anyone that would violently attack someone over such a non issue deserves the worst punishment possible by law. Anything less is a slap on the wrist and practically condoning their actions.
They were all wrong. We've all walked through people's photos before by mistake and most of us had enough courtesy to apologize and the photographers had enough common sense not to try and fight us over it.What kind of man do you think you are for beating up a helpless woman with help? Nothing but scum.
Even if it was the case that her words may have inflamed the group of five to beat her up, a person yelling or saying obscenities is not a valid defense for self-defense or to beat up others just because you can. If that's the case, people claiming self defense on supposed assault cases would be going through the roof
How in the hell is it not relevant??How is that relevant?

What's wrong with saying she was beautiful? Are you guys offended because you're ugly or is there something I'm missing here? I don't follow. You can just say someone is beautiful. Doesn't need relevance.

In this context it implies that the tragedy is greater because she was physically attractive.
would have gotten you killed. Best thing to have probably done was to remove the "loser" from the area.she was lying on the ground, getting beaten and kicked.
of course i would go between them or at least sucker punch the attacker.

not a single person helps her smh

Wasn't the argument over her accidental photo bombing?
Aha I see. I don't feel it would be.I'm asking if it would be less tragic if she was ugly.
I'm asking if it would be less tragic if she was ugly.
And here I've photobombed (in the background) people on-purpose before at/in clubs a few times. It's always ended in laughing and joking around and meeting a couple new people, though. I can't imagine what I would do if someone lost their shit and started beating me over it.

I remember hanging out with a buddy there who was quick to temper. Always worried the shit out of me. Alcohol + groups especially guys trying to act tough around girls = trouble.

Fucking disgusting. If I was outside of a nightclub and 5 people were attacking this poor girl I'd risk getting outnumbered to fuck them up
Not really. "A beautiful looking person died" =/= the death of a beautiful person sucks more than the death of an average-looking person
Oh come on...of course not. Buy you cant seriously be asking to completely ignore that the girl was attractive. It's like ignoring when a mother gets killed, a dad, an autistic kid, a good student, a child, etc etc.
The escalation was unwarranted, but depending on what the confrontation was about, whether her "friends" were making threats or whatnot, I can only assume that they had a part in the escalation of the event.
As for your second part, don't bother. I didn't say the escalation was logical, but to say the texting had NO PART in his murder would be a lie.
The escalation isn't what I'm arguing, the fact that (if what is said in the article is true and the way I'm reading it is the way it is being presented) then yes, the friends have a part in her death. As sad and tragic as it is.
Please don't turn this into one of those idiotic "YOU THINK SHE DESERVED TO BE RAPED?!?" circle jerk arguments. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that according to what is presented in the article, whatever argument happened between the 'friends' and the 'group' that they had a part in her death.
I did it once, I got beat up badly, but I never regret doing that. You can't just do nothing.
This type of behaviour sadly does not surprise me - I've seen it with my own eyes. There are people who have an extraordinary capacity to respond to non-issues with terrific amounts of inhumane violence.
not a single person helps her smh
That beaner bitch will rat out her home girls soon enough.
I was at this bar just a few weeks ago. It is a tiny place. Read the yelp reviews. I submitted my review and they took it down. Yelp is messed up. Lots of Mexican thugs in Santa Ana too. I hope they close that place down. Security did Nothing.
