Well then I'd say this is a good representation of me when it comes to any game Shahid is involved in.Wow, this is a goldmine.. Here are a few twitter quotes from the ex-Sony guy who secured the NMS PS4 deal:
Outstanding.well this was me today, officially
For what it's worth, the majority of us are on your side.I've spent thousands on my PSN account's digital library. I even bought a physical copy of No Man's Sky for a friend.
Don't tell me I'm a thief.
Definitely not a fan of Shahid atm, but a lot of the racist vitriol he seems to be getting off Twitter at the moment is vile.

Edit: Damn it, someone beat me to the joke

Game has become litteraly unplayble on my ps4 as well, it crashes on the opening sequence.. I think I have about 20 hours on it so I didn't bother trying to get a refund, but after reading through this thread I decided to send their support an email.
Doesn't hurt to try I guess.
In other news, Sony is still Sony regardless of what other threads have claimed in terms of their refund policy on this game.

The "previous refund" he's talking about is that I pre-ordered Fallout 4 on PS4 and then decided against it before release after I saw some performance data. I received PSN store credit, not a "refund", so it literally cost Sony nothing more than the time of the chat agent I spoke with for ten minutes. Not exactly sure how I want to escalate this, but I don't think I'm done complaining at them yet.

Read the first page of the thread. Some people are having issues that render the game practically unplayable, that only occur dozens of hours in. They supplied an error log. It's a bit like the Skyrim PS3 debacle, where the game ran fine until your save file was huge and then slowed to a crawl or crashed/froze constantly.I understand why some people are looking refunds with maybe a day's play and see how much the game is missing from what we've been told but I really don't understand how after fifty hours of play they are due a refund?
I personally think that Steam are just avoiding a personal backlash, getting themselves some great CS publicity here. Hello Games are not big enough to fight back and it's not as if black balling steam will affect steam much. If this was EA or UBISOFT there's no way any of their games would be getting treated like this by steam.
Yes I agree the game disappoints me but I've already logged in over fifty hours of play, some of which I've really enjoyed and I'm hoping HG will fix and expand on.
Then those people should get a refund. HG really needs to make a statement on what the issue is and when it'll be fixed.Read the first page of the thread. People are having issues that render the game practically unplayable dozens of hours in, a bit like the Skyrim PS3 debacle.
Call them. All the chat support reps I've dealt with at Sony have been pretty poor, I'm also pretty sure they're outsourced to another country whereas their phone support is in the U.S.
They probably won't. Hello Games and Sean Murray have been really quiet lately. Then those people should get a refund. HG really needs to make a statement on what the issue is and when it'll be fixed.
If it can't be fixed then the whole story needs to be made public.

Wow thats pretty unfair given the product was not even released and a very strong reason to never pre-order from PSN
You should never, ever pre-order on PSN unless you know you're going to love the game, reviews are out, etc. It's a terrible fucking option, in general.
Understand? I only told him that I don`t like the game, and that Hello Games showcased something way different in their pre-release trailers. Instant ban.
They probably won't. Hello Games and Sean Murray have been really quiet lately.
I just got a refund from chat. I did end up initializing my ps4 after being unable to rebuild my DB yesterday. Told them I didn't want to do any more troubleshooting. Mine had only crashed twice but I wasn't as far as those with more. I feel totally justified and only hope this helps bring about more consumer friendly digital rights.
Sadly lost PT but I doubt I would have played it again anyways
That'd be such a kick in the dick for those that that paid full price for a physical copy. Especially in Canada where our dollar is absolute shit. I paid $90 for itI think the game now deserves to be pulled and re-released using the early access model.

No Man's Sky from being one of the most anticipated games of GAF to be one of the biggest dissapointments of the year. I'm actually starting to believe it has surpassed Destiny and Watch_Dogs in terms of dissapointment and bad word of mouth.
I am fairly certain that attorneys have advised that.
Maybe they could reward current buyers with full access. If the game was re-released as a £20 game but with each huge update costing £6.That'd be such a kick in the dick for those of that that paid full price for a physical copy. Replace with Sean Murray
Seriously.Holy shit.
If that happened to me due to NMS...
"attorneys" lmao it's nowhere near that serious.I am fairly certain that attorneys have advised that.

Were the people going "lololol you played 50 hours you have no right for a refund" doing the same shit when the word about the PS3 Skyrim bug got out
Replace with Sean Murray
THIS IS THE PART, WHERE YOU FALL DOWN AND BLEED TO DEATH!!!Nah, complaints against Bethesda were pretty universal.
But the funny thing is, for some, sympathy is only deserved when you get screwed and stay screwed. When you get screwed and do something about it? STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM!!!
Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago when I tried to get a refund for this piece of shit game. In July I "cancelled" my pre-order for Dishonored 2. I told them I don't want them to put the money in my "wallet", I want my money back. If I went to a Gamestop and did this they would hand me a 5 dollar bill, not give me store credit.
Because I did that they would not authorize what they call a courtesy, one time refund for No Mans Sky.
Now...here's the best part. The above was after a conversation with a manager. The first line guy I spoke to said he could not do the refund because I have 50% of the trophies. I asked is that your criteria? Because the weight of the trophies varies depending how many ACTUAL trophies are in the game. This piece of crashing shit has like 20 something while other games have like 45-50 trophies.
All this has taught me is never buy digital games. I could have bought this thing via Amazon, got 20% off and sold it back to Gamestop when the hype was still high and maybe lost like 30 bucks. But it was a spur of the moment purchase in the middle of the night. Now I'm out 60 bucks for a game I deleted and a save file I deleted.
I USED TO BE A SPACE EXPLORER LIKE YOU BUT THEN I TOOK AN ERROR CODE CE-34878-0 TO THE KNEE!THIS IS THE PART, WHERE YOU FALL DOWN AND BLEED TO DEATH!!!
FILTHY PICKPOCKET!!!
