What was funny is that even though RVD was trying to sell his ankle/leg being injured, he still hopped from the ring onto the top turnbuckle like he always does :lol

If he really wanted to sell it he should have climbed up one by one.
 
Some fans like to shit on RVD but you have to respect the work he's been putting since ONS. He's had two good matches with Cena, a nice PPV match with Edge, and tonight with Angle. ECW fans from before know what RVD can do when he's not on a leash, but it's nice to see him getting back to his old self.

I love him coming out with both belts like that. But there's a few things we need to make the change complete.

1. Pantera theme
2. Fonzie
3. Rob talking shit to the crowd between moves.

There is nothing wrong with getting a good push. But my main problem with Cena is that he doesn't put anyone over DESPITE getting the victory. The wrestlers with talent can make their opponent look damn good and put them over in the process despite getting the victory. The way Cena works and sells(or lack there of) in the ring, makes him come across and totally obliterating his opponents.

Its like instead of the finish we saw tonight against RVD and Kurt, RVD hit the top rope kick, RVD hit his spinning heel kick, then hit rolling thunder, then hit his split legged moon salt, and then hit the frog splash FTW back to back to back to back to back(5 moves of doom style) , totally no selling the extensive damage he took during the match in the process. That would have made Kurt come off as looking weak. Both him came out of this looking competitive and stronger.

During the Angle feud, Angle went from being a rapist/stalker on Smackdown...jumped to Raw and became a top face despite being an anti-american heel.

That's why I said i've never seen anything like this before. Cena can make even the most hated heels a face. Look at Edge @ ONS. He went from being boo'd to being cheered for what he did to Cena.
 
Im loving the fact that ECW is back. At the very least its much more entertaining than that crap they had on TNN. IMO, in its current slightly watered down form its better than any other WWE show. I just hope once the WWE vs ECW stuff is over, its gone for good.
 
Thinking now, it would've been golden if Cena came out to ONS2 with his old music and tore the whole crowd apart in a rap. It would've been interesting to see if they would've changed their mind on him.

Cena COULD still be an awesome face. Look at him there, his demeanor is still the "hard" "thugh" "bad ass". Now he parades out there like a 80s Hulk Hogan mixed with a Hardy boy. And says a bunch of cheesy, un-funny comedian, "it try too hard to make witty comments like the rock" bs.
 
The obese stripper who appeared on ECW on Sci Fi and was caned down by The Sandman was portrayed by WWE Creative Team member Christopher DeJoseph.

Sorry guys, I went and saw Superman and missed ECW.

That's okay. I feel awesome right now. If I would have watched ECW and heard stupid ass fans chant We Want Cena, I probably would have felt like shit.

The show was entertaining aside from the idiot WWE fans chanting for Cena and being completely dead other than that.
 
Only main problem with the show is that it was pretty much EXACTLY like last week.

-Sabu opens by beating a low-card ECW guy in an overall entertaining match with a few nice spots
-Show does the EXACT same thing he did to Dreamer last week
-Sandman kills his 3rd joke character in as many weeks.
-Kelly waste time for by *GASP!* striping to her *Gasp* Bra and Panties!!!! **** out of here
-Raw maineventer invades and talks shit.
-An overall average show is ultimately gets a good grade thanks to a fantastic 20minute mainevent.

Last week's show was great, especially compared to the first, but **** they didn't have to copy it almost ot the T.

I think next week will be different...I doubt they can keep showing Big Show beat the **** out of Dreamer...Dreamer's gotta be able to retaliate someway. Also, the Kelly stuff will probably have to change to something different (either she's gonna get edgier or Knox knocks her out ala Test with the pump handle slam on Stacy). And the main event will probably feature some combination of RVD, Angle and maybe Sabu, which might be the same but that's all good :D

Maybe CM Punk debuts next week?
 
I think Punk could possibly debut, I don't think they wanted his debut to take away from Knox's.

In the post-taping dark match, The Undertaker defeated The Great Khali and Mark Henry in a handicap match.

Mike Knox is a selfish bastard. He also stole Alex Shelley's finsher!

Getting sick of them wasting 5 or 6 minutes on this cocktease bitch dancing every show. If I want to see that I'll turn over to Cinemax where they actually take their clothes off.

HAHA at the fat naked dude and Sandman caning the crap out of him.

Pretty good match at the end but it hardy saved the show.

No CM Punk or Test! BOOOOOO! This show gets a couple more weeks to turn it around or I'm not gonna waste my time to aquire it. Right now it seems like a glorified version of Heat.
 
Another average show, nothing you had to see. At least the wrestling was good.

I wish Alex would do the Skull****er again on TV :( Mike Knox is so generic, and the fact they waste 10 minutes on him and Kelly every week is pathetic. HOW CAN YOU MAKE ME NOT WANT TO SEE A HOT GIRL TAKE HER CLOTHES OFF??? **** YOU VINCE
 
A few things I noticed about the ECW show:

The guy in the Gamefly commerical is bigger than Mysterio.

Was it smart to have a Girls Gone Wild commercial, then have Kelly strip?

Wasn't the stripper the same stripper that was on RAW 2 weeks ago?

That is what I thought they would do. I thought we would hear 'Basic Thuganomics' as Cena kept harping on the fact how rough ECW was. I thought he would go back to when he was rough. Oh well...

Rumor has it that Kurt Angle will be taking some time off VERY soon. I think its about time for his usual hiatus, hes been going strong for a while now.

Holy s(brooklyn brawler)t! I cant even begin to comprehend the trouble i have caused all of you. But to be honest, its f*cking great! The blog comments are loaded with pictures and opinions, if i could ask one favor, just please dont get the site shut down again. Sorry for being off the board for a while too. I have missed some heavy sh*t. Ill do what i can to address as much as I can. Here goes. For those who want me back on the mic, taking the world ovewr 16bars ata a time, its on the way. I have recorded new music for freddie foxxx's album American Black Male, and you can hear it if you go to his myspace (i think its freddiefoxxx@myspace) but im not sure. Why dont I rapo on tv anymore? thats what most of you are asking, the answer is somewhat complex and has to do with everyone from wwe to janet jackson. ever since that whole boob thing they "wwe" began censoring what i can say and cant say. my "freestyles" usually just made up, would now have to be written, rewritten, and redrafted yet again before i could even open my mouth. I know I know, there are those who are saying DX has loads of poop, naked asses, dick jokes, ect. youre right, but when I was silenced on smackdown it was really an awaking for me. I really had to shift my focus 100% to the ring, and i have never looked back. I will still make hip hop music, the second album is on the way, along with some mixtapes and exclusive freestyles, but I love wrestling. There are those that will say "you still suck! and even though you love it youre not anygood!" I respect that, but i can only improve through having more matches. I have recently been introduced to ecw's style of play, and have been getting the sh*t beat out of me but through that i have new found respect for guys like Dreamer, RVD, Sabu, Balls M., Sandman, ect. Let me bottom line it for all out there spending time to read with me. I love what I do. I have never said "no" to any challenge or complained about any situation I have ever been in. I simply just hit the ring like a cannon blast, and do my best to leave everything I have out there for all of those watching. Those who hate, I am not here to "convert" your opinion. I am here to live out a dream that I have had since i was 6 years old, and in the process make it very clear to those that are on this journey with me I WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! Now if he just figure out HOW to put on a good match.....

He's been ragged on before for not putting in enough of an effort to improve in the ring.
 
Yeah there's an RVD nameplate on it.

As for Cena's reasoning, that makes sense to me. Freestyling isn't freestyling if you have to write it. But he really should bring it out for the big PPVs. He's not on TV, there's no real censorship. Write something out, show it to creative, and do it. Freestyling on his opponents is what made him who he is now. He can't forget that.
