I'm going to give WWE events in 2015 a better sendoff than they deserve, I'll bless it with an unenthusiastic prediction time.
Kickoff
Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch
On an NXT card a reason for excitement, on the main roster? the opposite
Ends in a rollup after about 5 minutes.
Ryback vs Rusev
You can tell I've been paying no attention when I say I didn't even know these two were in a feud. With the right build you could have a fun hoss punch up, except this probably isn't the right build.
Let me just check...
"Following his interruption of Rusev and Lana's public display of affection, "The Big Guy" Ryback will face The Bulgarian Brute at WWE TLC"
...This is not the right build.
Divas Champion Charlotte w/ Ric Flair vs. Paige
Bollocks to Ric Flair, the man adds absolutely zero to the current product, I instinctively want to hit fast forward whenever I see him wheeled out these days.
My prediction is Ric sheds some tears at the end of the match, either because his baby girl won a match and he's emotionally overwhelmed or because she lost and he's emotionally overwhelmed.
Whatever happened to the ladder match stip rumour?
The Dudley Boyz, Tommy Dreamer & Rhyno vs. The Wyatt Family (8-Man Elimination Tables Match)
Well I'll give them one thing, they have the right team involved for a tables match, alas it's kind of countered by the fact that the team is even here in 2015, that being Team Extreme who aren't to be confuse with Team Xtreme though with the current product I wouldn't be surprised to see them as well.
At the very least the Wyatt's should finally get a win, I mean nobody cares but it's...something.
United States Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger (Chairs Match)
Has Swagger ever beaten Del Rio? I think that says it all about this match up.
Impressive how two wrestlers with potential to be entertaining will no doubt create a swirling vortex of complete apathy.
WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons (Triple Threat Ladder Match)
Like an oasis in the middle of the desert this one, it has the potential to actually be a damn fun ladder match, not enough tag team ladder matches in modern WWE.
If you forgot to cancel your network subscriptions this match might be worth diving in and out for.
Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose
I was actually enjoying their Survivor Series match up until the point where Ambrose basically pulled a Cena and won after suddenly hitting his finisher after spending the past 5 minutes in a one sided beatdown.
I have to believe that this match will get more time to breathe, and hopefully Owens will counter Dean's sloppy rebound lariat with a Papa Powerbomb or something.
Also there may be a title on the line here, I've actually got some Smackdown clips on in the background and they bothered to use a contract signing segment for this which is the most surefire sign of story stagnation, all of a sudden this match got less interesting.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns (Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match)
I'd actually have more faith in this match if it wasn't using the TLC gimmick because I expect these two to devolve into contrived spots and sloooow recovery periods for said spots because the gimmick exists.
Sheamus already trying to take Rollins crown as the poorest booked WWE champ of recent times and it's only been a month, impressive.
Reigns has already pinned the guy and all that so he'll no doubt almost be on the brink of victory only for KING BARRETT and his court (aka: The united nations) to play "the damn numbers game" and subdue Reigns allowing Sheamus to get a cowardly limpdick win.
And Reigns will probably just smash through said cronies and be like one second too late to saving the match so we can get the combo of Roman looking strong and screwjob sympathy.
In conclusion if you're watching this it's probably because you have the network ready for NXT Takeover next week and TLC is fortunate enough to be in its path.
My man Kane to the rescue, I feel more intrigue from this image than the PPV card.
