Xbox has been killing it with 1st party titles in the last year but HW sales have gone down.
Sony had Concord and somehow it's destroying Xbox in HW sales.

How is the even legal?

Microsoft is just another PlayStation third-party developer. No one cares where the games come from.

PlayStation has everything except Nintendo first-party games. Xbox has a subset of that.
 
You've heard of "two little too late" but in Microsoft's case it's "too much too late". They had terrible software output for a really long time and their install base/market share reflects that. Now they have way too much software and the associated development costs to be supported by that small install base. As a result they have been forced to opt for software sales over hardware.

There was only one console where you could've played main GOTY candidates of 2024, namely:
Wukong
FF VII Rebirth
Silent Hill 2
Astro Bot
Stellar Blade
Helldivers 2

And that wasn't Xbox Series. Everything else is cheap and empty bickering.
 
You can play all Xbox first party games at launch, on game pass, on PC.

And now even Xbox is launching their first party games on Playstation.
 
lol when was the last time xbox released a 90+ goty contender, their games are as mid as it gets, most of the time half baked and broken at launch.

To go with your analogy yes I do they have way too many ladies in that brothel to be supported by the Xbox John's and have been forced to invite everyone in. Hoes got to eat.

The games came too late. People have already built up a substantial digital library on PSN. They're not just going to give that up and migrate. It's far easier to migrate from XBox to PS because of Gamepass. You don't own the games anyway, and you can access Gamepass on PC. So from a customer retention standpoint, it's far less stickier on XBox than it is on PS or Switch.

Mate ill jump on anything but xbox's offerings are sub par at best, At this point they have a monkey pox passport.

I mean they bought half the industry so I'd hope MS would be killing it with games.
 
I get what the op is saying. Even though ps5 is my main console currently. It's pretty easy to see that MS studios have been on the upswing and Sony studios have been a bit lackluster this gen so far.

This. Xbox screwed the pooch with past mistakes and are paying for it now. Gamers built their digital libraries on PS4 and are now migrating to PS5. MS only has themselves to blame for Sony dominating with such a pathetic list of games.
