Another example of a situation where communication with the player base is key. Maybe they don't have anything ready, or maybe they are preparing for a special E3 announcement. I'm fine with either of those things, but no releases + radio silence is not the way to handle it. At some point, they said that BC releases would happen whenever they are ready with no expectations, but then they started this foolish Tues/Thurs at Noon sharp pattern and that kind of regularity CREATES expectations. All Nelson would have to do is say "Sorry it's been light the past couple weeks but we're working on some great games" and people would be less annoyed.
- Light at the left, it's Denis Dyack
Just imagine:
- Phil enters the stage: gives a speech about how important is respecting their legacy and keep growing the ecosystem, then
- Lights turn off. only one light over Phil
- Light at the left, it's Denis Dyack
- Light at the right, it's Tim Sweeney
- All three holds hand and announce Too Human is being added to BC avaliable right now, free until the end of the month.
- Camera moves to the cheering crowd and spots Judge James Dever III clapping with a smile on his face and shedding a tear over his cheek.

Yeah, I agree with this. Also, people are already starting rumors and talks of big BC announcements for E3 which I am highly skeptical of but the lack of recent announcments only feeds this theories and rumors.
"Oh, nothing today because they are saving it all for a big E3 announcement!"
So not only are we annoyed, but now people will also be pissed when nothing is announced for BC during E3 which is likely to be the case.
The only exception of a BC announcement during E3 will be if a BC game is announced as a pre-order bonus, but I am not even expecting that.
This is, of course, in celebration of the announcement that they will continue the Too Human trilogy.Just imagine:

Mon - teams need to work over the weekend. Fri - if there are issues, teams need to come in over the weekend. We'll do it if requested by the publisher. But most want us to release during the week as well for the same reasons.
No doubt they will announce at least 100 new titles at E3!
BELIEVE!
When Bill Stillwell was asked about why Tuesday and Thursday are the normal announcement days. Seems reasonable to me.

Actually people are saying exactly that.
Admittedly, those people saying that are the minority.
That said, I don't agree with the stance offered here either. It's importance comes from outside of its time spent played, and it's bewildering to see so many on a gaming forum of all places not understand that. Taking a business perspective is fine and all, but using it to downplay a feature that is very pro-consumer and important to the preservation of video game history is when I have to question the intentions behind the words. And there's a lot of that happening in the various BC threads currently.
Speaking of Reach, I wonder if Scorpio will be able to bump it up to a locked 30fps, or if it's more CPU-bound? Would be pretty cool if so, since on both 360 and X1 drops aren't exactly rare.
Of course, an actual native, 1080p/60fps port would be ideal... Technically Reach isn't even HD, since it's juuuuust below 720p.
You are God damn right!Aliasing and low res textures apart, it's a damn good looking game
Sadly it looks like Reach will be the only Halo game without proper remaster

Its fixed nowStill the one Halo game I'm yet to complete. I have been waiting for a remaster but I think I'll just wait for Scorpio and hope that it gives it a good boost. I did try it when it first came out but the frame rate was so choppy. Especially after playing MCC and 5 in 60fps.
Its fixed now
Good morning 1% percent'rs!

I know it was improved to match, and maybe eclipse 360, but locked 30fps? It was never all that close on 360 and I'm pretty sure even post-patch it's not there on X1 yet. They already fixed that in a patch.
it was very close to locked 30fps on 360 and it's effectively locked 30fps on XB1 post patch.I know it was improved to match, and maybe eclipse 360, but locked 30fps? It was never all that close on 360 and I'm pretty sure even post-patch it's not there on X1 yet.

? Very close? I remember tons of slowdown on levels like New Alexandria.it was very close to locked 30fps on 360 and it's effectively locked 30fps on XB1 post patch.

I was more responding to "very close to locked 30fps on 360" there.Look up a post patch video?
What more can we say?
avg on 360 is like 29.92 hereI was more responding to "very close to locked 30fps on 360" there.
I'll take your guys' word on it for X1 though.
I did this back in the day and it worked. DLC even shows up on English on the Storage menu.
Dragon Age Origins Awakening digital cards are on Amazon with June 20 release date. Is Awakening not BC yet?

Edit: or maybe it just works because Origins does?
bump for hope in 50 min....
Please dont let me be let down again for a third week
With E3 in 3 days, I'm not really expecting anything. I figure they'll announce a few things as part of the weekend/E3. Maybe not in their big conference, but I expect some cool "BC" announcements during the events.
So I am launching Lost Odyssey today (am on Disc 4, 62 hours in, LVL 60) and the game got an update?!? 640 MB.
Wonder what was updated? The whole BC engine or what?
