Microsoft is pretty good and reactive when it come to pricing. And even more so in the US. They probably calculated that their superfans would buy it, like Sony calculated that people would buy Portals. With the rumors of a early next gen from Xbox, squeezing their fanbase a last time before it make some sort of sense. But the numbers will be probably awful when compared to the PS5 and PS5 Pro.300 Eurodollars, 4 years ago for an S I could somewhat understand and justify.
350, in 2024 absolutely not - and no, the half TB extra still doesn't justify it and/or make it a good deal.
MS is just being tone deaf at this point
Execs don't want to lose money on hardware anymore.SSD prices going up or something?
They have to run a business you know...Hahaha what a great deal!
Wasn't the Series S always white? Is it the 1 TB that is the difference?
What do they consider the stock that doesn't sell? A write-off?Execs don't want to lose money on hardware anymore.
Many people, specially young fellas, play on 1080p monitors over a desktop, but gaming PC is too expensive so I've seen they get those cheap monitors plus a XSS around here. This setup is so common that many even do so for XSX or PS5, just putting a console in a 1080p monitor over a desktop they use for other stuff like homework or for work. Nowadays there are many options for gaming and many people really like that setup over couch gaming, specially since they can get a very good monitor with Freesync and 120+ Hz.That 1tb will come in handy for streaming all those gamepass games
I just sold my series s after beating dust collector 1, 2, 3 and 4 but seriously
Who is this for? stupid people with money to burn? I don't get it
Could be a placeholder price until accurate pricing info comes. $349 seems crazy.
