I love how the blades of grass disappear about halfway through.
Add Kid Icarus Uprising to that list. Going back and watching the reveal trailer again is a shock after playing it.I remember when people were clammoring about how games like SM3DWorld, Wonderful 101, Hyrule Warriors, etc. looked like shit during their reveal trailers. Then when the games actually released "Omg this doesn't look anything like the reveal!" No shit.
Case in point.

right, I'm sure that this (you can clearly see the hardware improvements in this "new" 3DS!)

will become something very beautiful. just have to believe in the pre-release Nintendo's magic, yes?
Lol.
Here's the HQ footage from the direct and the 360p capture as seen in the OP.

What's the music at 0:30?
The framerate is the larger concern for me. Yikes.

I still do not get why Nintendo refuses to release Xenoblade at store digital download on WiiU. Just hope this 3ds port do not suffers of a major downgrade.
I think the game looks pretty good.. I mean, really it does look faithful to the original. I'm not sure what people are expecting. The environments are the best part.. characters were never anything special.

Considering what was said by the creator of the series about increasing the size of XCX to maintain it's sense of scale i can't help but feel that the 3DS won't properly convey that sense of scale that Monolith Soft wanted/created in Xenoblade.
Coming out to Gaur Plains for the first time and just letting the world sit for lack of a better word is amazing on the big screen. That's something i think will be lost with this handheld version.
The NTSC and PAL versions had different framerates?Someone did a frame analysis and it's actually in between the PAL and NTSC versions apparently. They probably have plenty of time to smooth things out too.
There are a bunch of eShop games that won't fit on the Basic's flash.Because that would mean they have to do something about the limited storage space on the system, Xenoblade isn't exactly a small game even compressed and them trying to finagle it onto a basic WiiU would be pretty laughable.
So instead of getting an HD remaster for the Wii U to hype X like everyone asked for we get a downgraded 3DS version? Gee, thanks Nintendo @__@

Gaur Plains (Daytime)
What you posted is a re-upload, and thus has been re-compressed. The original is on NintendoJPofficial's channel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghFEU4t_Pm8 ).
The sequences on the video have a framerate of 24-29 fps.
I don't know, I think the 3D could add a whole lot to the areas.
Sorry to ask but will this get a US release?
I love how the blades of grass disappear about halfway through.
GBA was severely underpowered. I love the thing but it really was.The GBA and DS weren't that bad for hardware at their price point in 2001 and 2004.
PAL was 25fps while NTSC was 30fps.
My thoughts exactly. Have no problem with them making a 3DS port but come on the Xenoblade audience will be on home consoles especially with the new one coming to a home console. Another lost opportunity for Nintendo I think...
What's the source for this? I don't think that's actually true.

That's the typical PAL framerate for SD content...
Only if you don't actually know what PAL is. Or the difference between PAL50 and PAL60.
I think the original Xenoblade sold just "okay" in japan and I think this new3ds port is more to get the portable centric people in Japan involved with the series since it seems like this is an IP Nintendo wants to grow.
I know that the vast majority of GameCube games are locked at 25 and I'm positive the it's the same for Wii.
Pretty much every single Wii game supports 60hz, Xenoblade included.
You're wrong. Nearly all PAL Wii games support 60hz and many GameCube ones too. The PAL version of Xenoblade is only 25fps if you run it in Dolphin due to a bug, it runs at 30 on the actual console.I know that the vast majority of GameCube games are locked at 25 and I'm positive the it's the same for Wii.

How does the New Model compare to PSVita Hardware ,? it is going to make better visuals or it is going to be inferior.
If the Pokemon game after Ruby requires this new 3DS, I'm done with Nintendo.
It will. So pack your bags now.
I'm just gonna trade my old 3DS in.
I want to see the "track your eyes" no lost 3D effect
Sucks to have a main feature on a handheld not getting used the majority of the time.

How is the 4GB cart limit gonna affect the port though? (if there even is a physical version) Because IIRC the Wii version is 6GBs.

Right! I'd forgotten about that. We haven't had any games go up that far that I know of, however.3DS can go up to 8GB, the Vita is the one who can only go to 4GB.
Just like how Black 2 and White 2 where DSi only? Oh wait.
In all likelihood due to the way the the Pokemon franchise operates now I doubt they will do anything more than have the games run a little better on the New 3DS and maybe have some extra control options.
