I'm starting to fear spoilers so I'll be bowing out now.
Hopefully we'll get a date by E3.
I can't help myself but click them, it's a cruel and sad muscle reaction, a real medical condition....

It's kind of crazy that the games been out for this long and we've yet to get any real "holy shit" spoilers. The closest thing is a new location that's never been mentioned before in the directs, but that's it. Then again, the game is huge so I shouldn't be all that surprised.I'm starting to fear spoilers so I'll be bowing out now.

The game sure looks weird when you dress your all-female party in normal-looking skirts and high heels and have them fight futuristic space soldiers.
You know I didnt think my thread would get to so many pages, I think it beat out my zelda thread
Not at all.
God, I hope this game sells well. Or at least "fine". :-
I wonder how the marketing campaign looks like in Japan.
The original game had at least one live action commercial
Can the music be disabled in this game?
Game looks awesome but everything with vocals is super cheesy.

That NLA track really reminds me of Gundam Unicorn. I believe the same composer worked on this game right?

This is the only thing I could fine, but the english says "unofficial", so who knows.
EDIT: And this one on NicoNico http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm26084077

Any live streams happening now?
I feel like this about most gaming tracks with vocals. And the good tracks with vocals tend to get exhausted on me really quickly compared to just normal orchestrated tracks.
Seeing how chatty the party is though, hopefully I'll be able to 'tune it out'.
Yep, Johndoe is currently playing and in Oblivia right now http://www.twitch.tv/johndoe1899
I'm loving the vocal tracks in their contexts in the game. I've become a fan of the NLA theme...
I wouldn't have cared for it by itself. But it just sounds right as the backdrop for the city.

You really need to be careful accepting affinity quest, since you can only have 1 affinity or story quest at the same time. D:
If you get stuck on the affinity quest you can't progress the story. And you can't cancel affinity quest.

I'm in between, some vocals in tracks sound fine (NLA is def there), but some it's more distracting than a vital and good addition to the song.
*shrug* I don't really care, nor do I expect every track on the OST to simple WOW me. And I think it's that way with most OSTs, right?
That said, I love Xenoblade's OST, but some songs are boring as well (Satorl [Day], Makna [Day], Valak [Day], Ether Mines, Sword Valley, and a few other locations).
Taking off my rose-tinted glasses for the songs I do love, I definitely think XBX is pretty damn boom-bastic and will be just as fine even with the composer change-ups.
By "get stuck" do you mean "wait, what am I actually supposed to do" or "oh shit, I'm extremely underleveled and have to grind"?
oh I seeCollectable and loot, at least it tells you what kind of enemies you need for the loot. I don't think level will be the problem.

It almost makes me upset that we aren't getting the game a few months after Japan seeing as how the game was revealed to everyone at the same time. Oh well.
Here's hoping for a July-early September release date overseas.
The hardest thing is no release date. I haven't clicked any streams yet, but how long will I last? How long will I endure? IF I ONLY KNEW HOW LONG TILL THE GAME CCAME OUT I COULD PREPARE FOR THIS PSYCHOLOGICALLY.
NINTENDO PLEASE
PLS
Does the saving and reloading trick work in X?
nope.
We know its coming this year so one would guess we'll get a better idea at E3.
nope.
