Yes they'll port it to the Switch right after they've ported it to the PC.

To be fair, I think Yakuza PC could eventually happen in (relativity distant) future but the Switch version of older games... yeah I don't see that happening.
HEY GUYS I HEARD THERE WAS WEIRD SHIT IN THIS GAME

Sega said they want to know why Asia gamers love their game,I doubt it would sold 20k if pirate happened.Yakuza series seems already earn more than GTA series here
Will you doubt Kaz Hirai? Are you saying the Yakuza series earns (sells?) more than the GTA games in Asia?
Will you doubt Kaz Hirai?
do you mean this in regard's to the game itself or the game as a product? as in, it sold significantly less?Sega already move to next step, the Yakuza6 out in my country still has "Only on playstation" label
I don't know what they will deal with Yakuza7, or will it exist.
BTW,Yakuza Kiwami can ship 200k Asia version day1 is because Sony localize Yakuza0 to Chinese and PS4 doesn't has pirate.(And Sega didn't want Sony do this at first.)
If this never happen,Yakuza6 maybe just get lower budget as other jrpg(Tales)
But several negative things happened in Yakuza6, I concern this series' future in their second biggest market

Glad to see many people use it
Also, I've noticed that the sizing is a little off and doesn't cover the sides of avatar so I've fixed that if you and others want to update your avatars. I'll edit the original post with this one too.
the guy above called and that helped, I guess it wouldn't hurt for us to do the same

oh yeah that's right, tomorrow is a holiday.Yeah, I'm going to wait for a little bit after the holiday weekend before calling them up. I have Prime as well but still have the message so we'll see.
oh I see, damn. so if it were not for those dialogue mistakes the game would've hit it off better in china? There was a sentence in Yakuza6:"What do you think of the Taiwan Nation ". And Sega fixed it after Chinese(mainland) complain.
But it just make both sides unhappy, and Yakuza6 banned in the biggest online retailer(mainland).
You know Trump also did that.
lol wat is this supposed to mean
Sony's Third Party Productions is helping Sega bring these games to the west..
Thank you for clearing things up and thanks to you and all the wonderful people at Atlus USA and SEGA for porting these fantastic games over here!!Hey guys, Sam Mullen here, producer at Atlus USA managing SEGA's JP lineup. I keep seeing this restated and I feel like it's causing a lot of misunderstanding, so I want to just set the record straight once and for all.
Sony has been an amazing partner, and we infinitely appreciate all their help and attention to this series. Without them, Y5 wouldn't have made it.
But their third party production team's involvement was limited to Yakuza 5. They have no involvement with 0, Kiwami, or Yakuza 6. For that, please direct all your love towards Atlus USA and SEGA themselves.
And keep rockin' YakuzaGAF. See you all in the 24th.

Wow, didn't know that. Hopefully that doesn't impact Yakuza 6's sales in that region too much. There was a sentence in Yakuza6:"What do you think of the Taiwan Nation ". And Sega fixed it after Chinese(mainland) complain.

Thank you for clearing that up. It's good to know that Sega itself is so invested in bringing the Yakuza series to the west. Wow. That music is amazing. Does the series always have good music?
Y4 starts with the GOAT Shun Akiyama so that instantly makes it a better game than Y5.i know the 3rd is considered one of the lows, but i don't care. the story is great.
didn't play 4, played 5 and lost interest after i had to play as someone other than kiryu. i don't imagine it'd be different if i played 4
I always find them enjoyable. Especially the few battle related ones that I've heard from Y0 have been so great.Wow. That music is amazing. Does the series always have good music?
Make and HK account and download it off of HK PSN. You can find it in the demo section of HK Store in PS4. It's called Ryu ga Gotoku Zero: Chikai no Basho. How you can download the demo ? I want to try it first

I decided that I don't really feel like playing the game on day one since I'm in a bit of a gaming rut right now. Preordered a gift copy for a friend instead though.
