You can put a PS1 disc in your PS3, and it'll stream it to your PSP (remote play). I always thought you needed to Digital Downloaded versions to do that but nope.

Also, while the PS1 disc is in your PS3, head on over to Audio and you can rip the tracks/music from the PS1 disc, which i always thought was kinda cool.

I knew about the remote play portion but thanks man ! I didn't know about the ripping of audio from the PS1 disc.

Wow I didn't know about this either, Geez I guess I haven't spent enough time on the Wii U. I do think it sucks through if your downloading something in the background and one of the App's crash the OS and you have to hard boot the system the data is damage while other console's you can resume the download.

In case people didn't know what he's talking about, you can replace the little black circle in the lid. Just open it, and you can push it out. I believe it was designed to be customizable, but it was never really used.

One of the coolest free gifts I’ve seen, the GameCube fascia came with CUBE Magazine. It replaces the black disk on the lid of your GameCube, and you change the picture it displays by putting an insert under the clear plastic cover.

On the Gamecube if player1 holds down 'Z' when powering on the system you get the 'kiddie' startup.

Remote play on PS3. Always thought it was cool but only ever ran it as a proof concept. Last few days I've been actually making use of it properly, to continue my Rayman progress from my room when the living room TV is occupied.

I look forward to PS4's remote play quality, as on PS3 the resolution takes quite a hit.

It's not ground breaking but I like a lot how the PS3 changes the input on my tv to the respective hdmi by itself, when I turn my PS3 it turns on the tv and if I turn off my tv the PS3 turns itself off.

And with the PS1 that feature to insert a music disc while playing was so amazing , it blew my mind the first time I tried it.

This clock orbs rotates in a different combination for every second. when time reach 00:00 it gathers in the middle to form big orb, also those crystals used to be filled with light the more minutes pass each hour.

Yeah, certain games such as Ridge Racer allowed it. I think it's because the race would be loaded into the RAM, while the music would still be steamed from the CD.

In the original Animal Crossing on GameCube, the entire game could be played without the disc.

I like the mini trailers that plays whenever you highlight a game or it's save file icon. Too bad not a lot of games have been doing this anymore.

On the PS3; Settings-System Settings-Control for HDMI=ON

TV: Settings-HDMI settings-Everything ON/Yes

Perhaps this one's a bit obvious, but I enjoy the fact that the Wii U gamepad can play a separate audio stream from the TV speakers. Some games and system apps use it to create a poor man's surround sound effect (which I appreciate, as I don't have a surround sound setup). The gamepad speakers aren't amazing, but they are far better than what you get from the wiimote speaker.
