Just opened up that lvl 44 dungeon with my lvl 45 Tank. What's the quickest way to 50 now? I've heard just run the dungeon over and over?

Also any tips for my L35 NIN to level up quickly lately? Doing it the first time was such a drag and with que times they way they are with DPS it's brutal. Plus all the parties are lvl 100

Aurum Vale? Or Dzamael Darkhold? You could farm either for XP, but don't forget you have Low Level Duty Roulette in your Duty Finder. There's almost always a bonus for tanks in that every day, so take advantage of it.

Whenever I get a class to level 44 now, I just run Darkhold over and over. Easy dungeon that gets me to level 50 rather quickly.

We had an FC meeting this weekend so we tried doing T11 with PLD/WAR/SCH/WHM/BLM and BRD/BRD/BRD. Guess what?! We did it! Everyone had to push their limits to the absolute maximum, even our healers had 130 DPS combined, lol

I really wish they would. I'd actually taking additional weapons up to Nexus and beyond, if they'd further nerf those steps. I don't foresee this however, so I'll probably just stick with the one. XD

I was thinking of a re-raise button, but then I realize you can't raise once you fall from fights like Titan or Levi, so your suggestion seems to most practical to fix DRG.

Those are such easy grinds compared to Nexus. Nexus cannot be done casually. I'm at 1000/2000 and that's with playing quite a bit.

Argh my bad - I meant Novus and Nexus of course.
Animus already got adjusted anyway, with less soldiery needed and the fates re-spawn rates being faster. It's actually very bearable now.

I dunno why people say books were nerfed. The effort to get 500 soldiery right now is a bit higher than the effort to get 1500 myth in 2.3 unless you get really lucky with newbie bonuses.

took me three days to finish my last three books.
Granted I was home sick and had a bit of time to spend. Still, running all Duty roulettes (exp, high, low and main story) gives a lot of soldiery now. Especially main story always had a first timer for me.

So that can be way over 300 Soldiery just from doing each Roulette. It felt much harder with myth before.
But I think the biggest improvement was the spawn-rate of the fates..for all three books I was waiting max 30 mins for the longest one to spawn and it was easy to solo (even The Four Winds).

Ugh, I tried parsing stuff to ser my DPS and found out that I suck as MNK. Seriously, I was doing 180 DPS on Nael first phase, and I don't know why.

Is there any good tutorial on MNK rotations?

Basing this mostly on what happened with FC3s and Mastercrafts--FC3s were expensive which kept the MC price down. They introduced those glasses, MC prices went up, then shoe explosions and now MC Demi is nuts. Sealant, at least on Ultros, isn't too ridiculous right now, and they've been consistently messing with desynth mat availability and rates every patch since desynth started. So as short sighted as it is, I can easily see them trying to balance out the MC prices and not accounting for what it'd do to sealants in turn.

I wish more people would get this memo. Tried T9 for the first time last night, and the party leader kept berating me (as MNK) and the DRG for going to Nael after Iron Chariot and not stacking up. We gave up trying to keep up our buffs after the 3rd wipe and moan.

I was pretty much expecting an outburst along those lines after the wipe - but most of the rage went at the healer who kept getting eaten by Lunar Dynamo and blaming everything else.

Well, I feel that if you're dying to Thermionic Beam, then the DRG should stack with the group since the MNK's GL stacks are a lot more important to maintain than HT or whatever other nonsense the DRG is doing.

What if the DRG needs to reapply Disembowel. GL applies no piercing debuff and is therefor useless to me.

Thermionic is about 15k raw.

500 was probably doable even before buffs, I mean, at a training dummy at least. I'm 110 on that class, and can hit 410-420 on a training dummy. 500 at ilvl120+ is probably very doable, and at level 130 good DRG's could probably start hitting numbers like that in real actual content.

Mind you, Monks will probably be hitting something like 600-650DPS by the time they're reaching the same point.

Disclaimer: There's a lot of guesstimation going on here, so pardon me if any of these numbers look a little off.

The best solution is everyone rolls DRG loot. First person to get 3+ left side pieces gets to switch to the OP DRG.

Just thought I'd reiterate this. I've seen plenty of monks get into the habit of attacking Nael during Therm, only for them to completely fail to react to being the party member targeted.

Attacking during therm to keep GL up, is definitly the right move, just be prepared to adjust if RNG gives you the finger.
