If they fumble on the doom stuff though I'll be pissed. The doom/reed dynamic is the best comic bookish character study besides batman/joker and Prof/Mags.

They use the old Marvel logo, not the fancy new Marvel Studios logo that the MCU movies use.

The visuals seem to be a strong point, even if they're decidedly not in the same style as the classic Lee/Kirby run. Most people still look at Chronicle as just a found footage film (which is still bizarre, since a good chunk of the cameras are destroyed throughout), but Josh Trank brought a very strong visual identity to that film to help it stand out, so it's good to see him with sure footing on something a bit more traditional.
I still feel like everyone other than Michael B. Jordan should be a bit older (I really can't imagine Reed as less than 40), but we'll see if they can make it work.

It's not even supposed to be a negative comment. I'd do the same, Marvel is a hot name at the moment and since they are involved to some extent you can put their name on the product. They did it in the first DoFP trailer too but not with the First Class trailer for example. Sony did not use the Marvel logo either in the Amazing Spider-Man trailers as far as I know.

I'm going to wait for Maxamillian to show up with Doctor Doom and everyone just starts playing UMVC3. It would instantly be the best movie ever.
Trank is doing a side story not episode 8.

I thought it looks much better than it could have been given the development stories we've heard, although it is just a trailer. Also "Fant4stic".... Really? Uuugh
Rian Johnson is doing Episode 8, Trank is doing a spin-off.
I assume this is going to be the go to line if the movie is good.

Even though almost the entire film was shot in a studio, I hadn't really considered how effects heavy this film will be. Too early to say, but I'm slightly leaning towards seeing it just to see how it is.
