More likely that he's not always in rock form. He changes back and forth like Hulk, just with a different trigger. Kinda messes up the point of the character, but whatever.

If true, they could always go about him having to deal with his transformation becoming more and more permanent, making it harder to stay human.

Eh. I'll withhold judgment until I see the final product but it doesn't look as bad as I was picturing. We need Hacker Doom to put the cherry on the top and he's conspicuously absent.

I also like the people thinking the movie has good cinematography simply because it's dark.

>_>

I also kind of agree with the poster who said "why even call this FF?" If you're just jamming characters you own the rights to into a story and altering it to the point where it doesn't resemble the source material, what's the point?

eh, that was actually pretty good. different than i expected, but still good. i'm not an uptight fanboy so i don't really care how they change the characters. cautiously optimistic. i like the cast too. fresh faced.

Doesn't look too bad. I'm glad the found footage reports were false. If this is what Trank's style looks like for a standard big budget action movie then the second Star Wars spinoff shouldn't look too bad.

There's actual good use of framing, lighting and coloring in it.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is one of the best superhero movie trailers I've seen in a long time.

There's an atmosphere, there's nothing truly revealing, but it shows enough interesting material that we don't generally see with such a teasing synopsis and beautiful cinematography that I think, at least for now, I'd just walk in blind to see this movie.

God I'm hype. Do we have an F4 hype train yet? I'll hop on.

I think it has good cinematography because the trailer had good cinematography.

I'm not an NPC. And neither are we.

Except the trailer did show good cinematography..

I dont see that...can you point out who has been saying that?

I feel like this movie would have been better if it was its own thing like Chronicle instead of slapping fantastic four at the end. Seriously, this could have been any movie until they put up the title. The cinematography looks nice though, glad they got the Chronicle guy for this.

Could have been so much worse. I'm on the Marvel brigade, but good movies are good movies. Hopefully this turns out peachy.

There's nothing offensive about this trailer at all.

Also, I'll follow Vince Howard anywhere.

Jesus why is everyone saying this. It's a teaser trailer. There was a dude made of rocks and a guy who turned in flames. How much more do you need in a teaser?

At least you can talk. Who are you?
Depisite initial worries, I'm in. Trailer was good, better than Ant-Man at least. Hope it turns out to be a competent film.

The trailer was alright, a bit light on showing their powers. I'm hoping that means that the CGI is still being polished or they just don't want to show it in a teaser and not that they're going to rely on the fx to carry the film. I'm kind of interested to see the twitter meltdowns about black torch.

Ok, BANNED.

Thanks for the reports, we've filed them away.

I wasn't expecting much, but it's pretty funny how that trailer was better than both Avengers 2 and the Ant-Man trailers.

I love seeing the inability for internet haters to eat crow on it.

You know, that looked good enough for me to predict it will be the best Fantastic Four movie yet. So, that's something!

Did people not like the A2 trailer? Thought it was awesome myself (coming from someone who didn't really care for the first movie).

can someone explain how Sue and Johnny a natural brother and sister?

And I thought it would be interesting to take the family dynamic of the Storms, which is brother and sister, and bring that more into the 21st century in terms of what we consider the norm. I have mixed family in my own family and it’s something that isn’t out of the ordinary anymore but we don’t really see it portrayed in the casual reality of the movies. That’s something I felt that would be interesting and challenging, to have mixed siblings.

Seems to give a better impression than the previous series I guess...<.< I doubt I will go see this through, since I had lost interests in the team overall.

It's a fairly not bad teaser after all the bad reports leading up to it as many have mentioned - definitely has piqued my curiosity to see more.

You can really see how they are going play up the family dynamic like the previous iterations never did. So excited!

I felt that the brother and sister chemistry worked well between Alba and Evans.

I am one of minority of people who like the two previous FF movies, heck I even liked Ghostrider 1 (not 2 though)

I like it when a superhero movie retains a portion of the comic campy feel of the comics.

I hated Man of Steel BTW

Looks like a half decent movie, but is it a half decent fantastic four movie. Trailer didn't impress me to be honest and this coming from someone who is totally indifferent to the FF.

Yeah, and I guess a teaser trailer isn't really indicative of the tone of the actual movie. It just felt more like Interstellar (As others have said) instead of a movie based on the fantastic four comics. Although I haven't read the ultimate ones so maybe its fine the way it is if its going for that. Either way its a pretty good trailer for what it is and I'm actually interested in the movie now.
