Was a graphical update included in 2.0? Playing on the Xbox One and it definitely feels different. Really love the new UI and galaxy map, looks great.

I'm pretty sure that there was a graphical upgrade. Shaders, Particles, and Textures are better than they were before the patch.

I think there's gonna be one or two "old" looking weapons in the TTK exotics. I was looked at a few of the new stuff last night. You can find them in the armory section of bungie.net

It could someday get a year 2 version and if you don't get it now you'll have to hope it drops from a Xur Year 1 engram after tuesday and who wants that kinahura.

Quest screen to the left of your primary screen. You can only see one faction at a time (the one you pledged allegiance to).

Before you choose an allegience if you don't choose and back out it will show you the rank on the main faction screen.

Here's me in the Destiny OT........I love the new quest design and the way everything works. the DLC strikes got lowered and integrated into the actual story. So now you are actually FINISHING the stories that they left open on the planets in 1.0.

not to mention how they actually integrated the DLC quests into the random story quests we got in 1.0 are now fantastic.

Everyone remembers just getting thrown to the moon, grabbing the sword of crota slashing the 3 kings and killing them the first time only to immediately be sent to mars/venus.

NOT ANYMORE! It now immediately expands into the dark below after that if you so desire and actually expands in a relative narrative order. While 1.0 story basically is just an introduction to the problems while the DLC now expands on them via quest integration. Don't forget that the quest text has been thoroughly thought through and expands on every 1.0 story quest as well giving more detail then before. It's like they finally integrated the important parts of the grimoire that you naturally had to go onto the website to look up back story into the quests themselves to just integrate it into the game. I got to level 14 yesterday but holy shit if this is the time for anyone to jump in for a first time or level an alternative character it is fucking NOW. It has been an amazing experience thus far and it's even better being top 2 in PvP when your a level 10 vs the 34's XD.....I have white weapons breh come on!

But yes, there is a reason that the update pertains to new players and thats to garner hype to the actual launch for all the post players next week. All in all......Destiny 2.0 has been nothing short of spectacular and I look forward to getting home and journeying even more. I'm happy I deleted my worthless 25 hunter, I would actually be missing out on the beautiful quest integration.

Oh yes, did I mention a lot of the quests give fantastic gear, weapons and ghosts along the way

Quest system is straight and to the point also has some extra dialogue in the quest box that I've never seen. Maybe they will fill in the blanks via the quests now to fill in how bad 1.0's story was.

All O am so enjoying this it is weird having light at level 1 because of the new system though lol

Really? To me it sounds like recycling currently existing content in most lazy ways -- "Complete this strike in less than 17 minutes!"

The rewards are recolored assets as well. I am surprised Bungie hasn't tried to make any really unique looking Sparrows yet. Mounts are among the most desirable cosmetic items in almost any MMO, but it seems like all they do is repaint the same model over and over.

Could they have used a less disgusting drink? I don't do energy drinks to begin with. The caffeine highs and lows are not worth it.

You can buy the codes in bulk on eBay from probably less than 50 cents a piece.

So decided to take the plunge and pre-ordered the Legendary Edition on Xbox One from the store. I had downloaded the trial version in the past and left it on my hard drive. When I went to my queue lo and behold it downloaded both expansions and the Taken King in like 5 minutes. I guess the trial version kept itself updated with all the patches and content, pretty nice surprise!
