I dunno it just seems like a sick tempo play for turn 1 because it puts a minion in play and allows you to kill a 2 health minion and play a 2 drop. So even if you war axe turn 2 you still have a 1/1 or you can deal 4 dmg. This could push a more midrange or aggro warrior style too. That said it sucks against class 1/3 minions so I'm back on the fence about it.

I kinda don't like how you need to be able to deal 3 damage by turn 2 to kill off 1 mana class minions that decide the game.

Nothing except for pure face lists runs x/1 minions, and Warrior is already the best counter to those so there's no need to tech against them.
 
I feel like the card is pretty good if your opponent played a 1 health minion like Leper Gnome, you get a 1/1 on the board and kill it for free. Next turn your opponent can't play a 2 health minion since it's you trade your 1/1 +weapon and then play your own 2 drop.

Pretty sick arena plays, of course it kinda falls apart if they play mana wyrm and the like.
 
Warrior still don't have 1 drop confirmed, not like they usually use one anyway.. but Warbot is cool :(

I rather if its equip 2/1 weapon
 
So, you guys calling it meh, you realize how broken Muster was, right? This is almost a Light's Justice + a third of the bodies + pirate synergy for a third of the mana cost. It's probably not OP, but it's really, really good.

Insane in arena.

Probably doesn't fit Warrior's gameplan in Constructed. It's not like they need much help teching against aggro decks. Plus Ship's Cannon is going away which makes the pirate synergy less exciting.

I do think it's insane in arena, though. More weapons is always nice, even if it's just for a ping.
 
It's better as a followup to other pirates than as a one drop. One mana is super cheap.

But aren't a lot of them rotating? Blizzard plz.
 
Pirate synergy is basically worthless. Ship's Cannon had the potential to be a great card but the rest of the pirates sucked so much it never had a chance

Warrior has more weapon options than Paladin and more importantly needs those to control the board early on, that's their gameplan while Paladin plays the board game from turn 1. A ping weapon is nice to have but as Warrior you just need that weapon slot for better cards.
 
pretty bad card if played outside of arena. might see play in a super aggro face warrior deck but you have best just using cursed blade to do more damaged.
 
I could see that getting played if Warriors had more cards like Upgrade or Deadly Poison. If Rogues could get that, it'd be a lot better since getting that extra durability helps a lot with weapon buffs.

I don't see that happening though.
 
It's clutch that it's a common though, Warrior is already top 4/5 in arena since they got Obsidian and Monkey and this just cements that position, maybe even pushes them to top 3 as the card helps the most against Paladin shitbags.
 
New Warrior card is okay, but not amazing. Should be decent in Arena.

Haven't been playing much the last month and a half, but it's still the same shit going on lol. Preordered my 50 packs. Any cards that people are looking forward to? Any word on what's being nerfed from the Classic set?

Anyone have a suggestion for a very well rounded deck to climb the ranks with?

I'm tired of always losing.

Really? Tempo mage seems to be one of the more powerful decks right now, what kind of deck list are you running?

Aggro Shaman is really easy to pilot and not especially expensive. It's also kind of boring, but as far as I know it's the cheapest deck with the most consistent winrate and the fastest games.

Secret Paladin is also, obviously, really easy to use and really easy to win with (and also really boing), but you need a lot of expensive to craft cards for your god curve.

It is a good deck, but I keep getting wrecked by warlocks, shamans and warriors.

I don't think it has enough removal power, taunts or big creatures.

Sometimes I own big time with it, if I can the right cards at the begin,ie flamewaker, mana wyrm, etc.
 
nice arena card

should be enough to keep warrior from being the bottom class for another meta as long as their other cards aren't insanely awful
 
New Brawl is Kel'thuzad versus Rafaam. It's pretty fun. Seems more balanced than the Nef/Rag fight, at least.

No, Rafaam's hero power is way broken compared to KT's

If you can get rafaa's staff built fast you instant win basically. As KT i just did a game where every single use of hero power was ressing spectral spider

you say that like every warrior deck has fiery war axe(or that you always draw it even if you do)

warrior needs all the early game help it can get

pings can be very helpful later on as well if you don't have any other weapons currently floating around

and not only do one health minions sometimes show up this thing deals very well with two health ones as well,this plus the weapon can often deal with your opponents two drop and then you still have a 1/2 weapon floating around plus presumably a 2 drop of your own on the board

I mean different classes I know but look at light's justice,that's usually a pretty good card to play on turn 1

this is that AND a 1/1 for the same mana cost(well minus 1 charge but 3 charges is still a lot)
 
Does anyone have a deck tracker that isn't completely ugly and dog shit?

I saw one of the more popular ones but it requires you to delete the cards you own, so its kinda just for showing what you need, rather than what you have and need. Any help appreciated

edit: preferably just an excel spreadsheet and not a downloadable

Lights justice is already an amazing arena card, this is basically a lights justice for warrior. Sure you would likely take firey war axe over this pirate, but this is a good choice when given poor choices.
