I see your off screen shots and I raise you my direct feed svideo shots(I have component, but can't deinterlace as well).not sure how well this translates given that im taking pictures of my tube tv, but 4EVO thru component is a sight for sore eyes
Thinking of Bond games, the PS360 title Bloodstone from Bizarre Creations is also pretty fun and hugely overlooked.Just played 007 quantum of solace and it's neat. I knew eurocom did it, but had no idea it scored higher reviews than the Treyarch version.
Fun and only like 3 hours too.
I guess this is as good a place to ask as any- is there such a thing as a PS3 or PS4 or PC to PS2 controller adapter? I have a TES+ for PS3/PS4/PC that I would love to use for a couple of my PS2 games.
Yeah I'm gonna try that one someday. And one of the few 360 games to have 4xMSAA as well.Thinking of Bond games, the PS360 title Bloodstone from Bizarre Creations is also pretty fun and hugely overlooked.
Awesome, I'll be first in line![]()
Outside of the obvious, any platformers (region doesnt matter) that are worth a shot?
Klonoa (does that count as obvious, idk)
You could always grab a ps360+
I never played any of them!I really want this, but why no SamSho V Special?![]()
Yeah, one of these days I'll get around to building a custom stick...
EDIT: Just did some more reading on this. Sounds awesome. Maybe I'll try and pick up a cheap 360 stick and swap out the PCB. Thanks for the suggestion.
I ordered Hungry Ghost too. I hope it's good.
Yes, it is better than that mediocrity that is Spikeout, and thankfully supports 480p unlike most PS2 games.I've been playing Urban Reign a lot lately and I'm enjoying the hell out of it! It feels like a condensed, but much more fun version of Spikeout.
That's one of my fav Bond games actually, have it on Xbox. Was internetless for a few hours today so played some 007 everything or nothing decent bond game although shows its age now
So I bought a PS2 Slim a few months ago, and I've really enjoyed it.
I'm not looking to take the plunge into getting some Japanese games.
What are the best options in terms of being able to play them?
I don't like the idea of disc swapping. Ideally, I'd like to ship my console to someone reputable, have it refurbished, install a a chip and ship it back to me.
I don't have any soldering skills, so I'll need to have someone else do this for me.
What are my options? Is there a better way to play Japanese games on my American console?
I left a book on top of my slim lid and now it won't register that the lid is closed unless there is something on top. Is my slim dying? Should I buy a new one?

I'm aware it's probably not the best option for you, considering what you wrote (also, I have no idea if it's something that is easy to find in the US), but I'll always suggest the good old fat PS2 modded with the Messiah 2 Pro chip, as the best possible all-in-one solution. It can play PAL50/60 European games, as well as NTSC-J/UC, just fine (I only had one single Japanese game that didn't work properly, but that was a known issue of the chip, when installed on PAL machines). Plus it comes with its own PSone start-up, which supports all kinds of original PlayStation games (multi-disc ones included), once again from every region. Last feature, the chip itself can be put in sleep mode, so you can run your system as it's 100% unmodded. So I bought a PS2 Slim a few months ago, and I've really enjoyed it.

Guys, is Klonoa 2 worth picking up, if you enjoyed the first game on the PlayStation, and you're pretty much in for more of the same?

An early demo version of Katamari Damacy's soundtrack was uploaded yesterday. Really interesting to listen to if you're family with the final soundtrack.

I like collecting for ps2, as they're all I find in the wild these days. No more snes or Genesis finds, but stumble on great ps2 titles for a dollar or two at goodwill still.
