Pokeballs 10 at a time.

When you get to Royal Avenue you can at least do that for half price lol.

As a user of the much superior Luxury Ball this is not an issue for me.

Managed to get a Popplio, Litten, and Pancham from the GTS. (Wasn't sure Pancham was in this game. Happy to see that it is.)

This is why I wanted a female Rowlet. :p I got them all for Rowlets I just bred at the daycare.

Jeez the first trainer on the 4th island was 8 levels higher than my weakest team member. Guess it's time to do a bit of grinding and turn on exp share cause that's ridiculous.

Just finished the Team Skull raid... And I'm feeling meh. It was cool but I'm too overleveld to have a challenge. Thinking about switching lycanroc for stufful for a bit, try to evolve it to bewear and give that a spin.

I need to try out that island scan. Let me do that now before moving on.

Am I the only one that keeps my Pokémon unevolved for a very very long time? I feel like we as players spend so much time with the fully evolved forms we barely get to see and spend time with the first few stages.

My team consists of:
Rowlet
Litten
Popplio
Crabrawler

If you have exp share on you will always be overleveled.

I was solo Litten at that point so I was worried it'd take me a while. Managed to beat it on my 2nd try though.

I knew Wishiwashi was gonna be a badass the moment I saw it. Was happy to have my suspicions confirmed only a few minutes later.

I am currently breeding Littens with egg moves (the last move planned is dependent on when my meowth has reached level 38). And I'm just wondering just how good the Masuda Method is in this game. Because this is without the shiny charm too!

This game is okay at best. It's a pokemon game, so its fun but I seriously think it is the worst pokemon to date.
  • Bad World Design. feels divided and small
  • New pokemon list is small, and not too many "cool" pokemon
  • A lot of pokemon seem to be the same 3 or 4 types, while a lot of other types are very sparse.
  • Game is so happy-go-lucky all the time.
  • The cut scenes. Holy, it is like walking from one cut scene to another sometimes, but for 6 in a row.
  • Way too easy. Most pokemon games are easy but this one is just silly. Even the island leaders are a joke.

Is anyone else using Komala? That thing is a monster.

I mean its normal STAB is weaker than Bewear and Toucannon's, but Komala is way cuter. I'm actually glad it doesn't evolve. Perfect design.

Just making my way to the first island challenge and taking my time to enjoy the game. I decided to catch a boat load of Pichu for no apparent reason. I still cant decide who I want to keep on my team which currently consists of Pichu, Trumbeak, Grimer and my starter (went with rowlet).
Should I start scanning QR codes yet?

Got my ass handed to me on my initial attempt at Mallow's challenge.
The Lurantis's automatic Solar Blade on the first turn was just horrifying for my Rock, Water, and Ground team.
Ended up having to ditch the challenge, grind my Rockruff and Cubone until they evolved, caught a Fletchling just to use for the totem battle to take hits, and ended up running into a Stufful that called for help like 3 times. I caught one! Her name is Cuddles. :3

Oh, and I BODIED that Lurantis.

I do. I felt the pacing of story beats and game progress was fine. Especially after XY which had a garbage story and really weird pacing of progress.

It only becomes a problem to me on subsequent playthroughs, but for the initial run I thoroughly enjoyed it as it was.

The back to back stops annoyed me for the first 2 hours of the game or so. After that, they were infrequent enough that they didn't bother me.

Yeah, I am still early. You have given me hope for tomorrow that this game turns out to change my opinions.

I have been a little prejudice on my opinion, I will cleanse my bias and continue on tomorrow.
