So i finally bought an Xbox One, and I have to day: backwards compatibility is a godsend.
I bought Oblivion and am looking to buy the gears of war games for backwards compatibility.
I love this console already!
Top tip for the Gears games: If you plan on buying Gears 4, they all follow along as digital codes with the game!
Saving this for later.

Wasnt that until december?
I've recently started gaming with my other half. We've been together a year and although I knew she gamed a bit when she was younger, it's not something we've actively done despite having consoles in the house. It's very quickly established itself as a nightly routine though, which has come out of nowhere and is kinda great.
Does anyone have any recommendations for local co-op or multiplayer 360 games that playable on Xbox One right now?

Hoping: Metal Gear Collection, Modern Warfare 1-3, Arkham games, Mafia 2, vf5, soul Calibur V, sf4
Expecting: Nothing

I believe the 360 version of Borderlands 2 is about to hit GwG as well and that is pretty good local.
I believe that was Gears 1: Ultimate Edition, maybe Gears 4 too? At least a physical Gears 4 will give you the codes on a leaflet inside the cover!
Edit: I may be wrong here, looks like the old games are no longer mentioned online. However if you grab a physical copy and see the logo I had on my cover on it, you're getting the 360 games on digital codes on a leaflet inside:

It's funny because I think the reason why we're at this point is that most of us have almost a bulk of our favorite 360 games available now. Now it's just a game of "wait and see" for the last one or two we love to finally make its debut.Hah, this thread is great. 'BC is terrific!'
'Yeah but they won't release this one game, so gloom gloom gloom'
/repeat
The bulk? Not even close. It's funny because I think the reason why we're at this point is that most of us have almost a bulk of our favorite 360 games available now. Now it's just a game of "wait and see" for the last one or two we love to finally make its debut.

After Capcom announced Resident Evil: Revelations as an upcoming XB1/PS4 port just this week, I think the writing is on the wall that Capcom prefers more opportunities to sell the same game on a new console versus going BC-freebie.
TBH a 'updated' PS4/XB1 version of Dragons Dogma would suit me down to the ground.
That would be great because I never got to play the Dark Arisen content.TBH a 'updated' PS4/XB1 version of Dragons Dogma would suit me down to the ground.
