Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

5k per week, per character. Is there also an overall limit that penalizes larger clans?
In that you can only gain one Season Clan Level per week, sure. Larger clans will just hit that quicker.
I'm a big fan of looter shooters with recently getting into Warframe after Boaderlands. I never did play Desinty tho. So I'm on the fence and still waiting patiently for the reviews to complete so I can make finally decide.

I watched this. I'm sorry I did now ☹️

Yeeeeah, definitely wait for and wait for and give this guy's review the diligent study it demands :P

Anyway the base campaign at Recommended or higher power (which he is) is tuned to be doable by players of all skill levels who just wish to experience the story, and is not a good representation of available challenge in Destiny. It's simply not intended to be hard. If you are more skilled you can complete campaign missions well below the recommended level for more of a challenge, or participate in endgame activities. Completing the story is basically the start of a character's progression in D2. Considering how Borderlands structures its challenges I don't think what he is complaining here about would actually impact your enjoyment much.

Does unclaimed power gear stack?

For instance if I don't pick up my luminous engram, but earn enough clan XP to get another.
Does the new one overwrite the old one, or do I get two?

Im just with Asher Mir

He's giving choice of 3 exotics, graviton lance, sunshot and riskrunner. What should I choose?
All are at least good. The pulse and the hand cannon are both outstanding if you have a preference of one of those two weapon types, whereas the auto is more situational.

All the engrams will be there waiting for you.

Whatever fits your style more.

I love hand cannons, so it was easy. All three can random drop from exotic engrams, so you'll eventually aquire them all anyways

You can also choose for your second and third character, and the game doesn't let you choose the same one twice so you're guaranteed all three in that sense.

Yeah thinking hand cannnon too

Sunshot don't ever look back.

Yeah went with sunshot

Cheers, yeah love my expolosing headshots, hope it easy enough to power up at later stages

Yeah it's not too bad, you can feed it any hand cannon to infuse it up including blues.

I've noticed, once you are at 280 blues drop for me at 275, which infusion one of those plus a Legendary Mod with 5 Light makes anything 280, a great point to be at in terms of starting to play around with viable loadouts/builds.
Sunspot is an awesome weapon.

I'm trying to decide which pulse rifle I prefer out of Nightshade and Disrespectful Stare.
Used the Stare for a while because it was my highest light item. I like Nightshade's recoil better but it hits pretty hard. I should try it with different sights.

Did I tell you that Sunshot is a godly weapon? Not good for PVP but it's a beast for PVE.
Yeah, I wouldn't use it for PVP. PVE, its a beast, but PVP, it fires too slowly to be effective. Its a high impact/low rate cannon, so not as good as other regular hand cannons IMO.

Exact opposite man lol.

Sunshot is high rof low impact, but the impact is too low to be used effectively.

The best hand cannons for pvp are the ones with mid impact.

Thanks to Irma, my power is finally back on. Sadly, the internet is still out. So much for being raid ready and finally experiencing a blind run on day one.

I love it. D2 Hawkmoon, easily.

Getting a mob of injured enemies together and watching the sunburn chain reaction of explosions go down the line is so satisfying.

So many particles, so pretty!

I'm sorry. I can't believe my cable stayed intact here. My sister's place is still totally without power. Really sucks that you can't take part in day-one shenanigans. But DGAF will be here for your when you're back up and running.

Ironically Irma is keeping me at home from work and potentially able to raid when I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

275? I'm 280 and my blues still drop at 273. I think my 273 primary is holding me back.

I should infuse my 286 Mida into it, then print another one and get it to 275. I hardly use it outside of PVP anyway.

Yeah as far as drops, it's taking your highest possible light into account, but that still includes the exotic limit. I'm assuming when you're using that 273 primary means an exotic in a different slot is higher than anything else you have available in that slot, so what you're talking about (infusing MIDA into kinetic legendary) probably would make a big difference for your overall light.

Also I didn't mean all blues are guaranteed to drop at 275 if you're 280, just that they can :P

So, what the best legendary scout riffle?

I miss my Hung Jury Yr 2.

Just got to 280, so time to spec out a good scout, and figure out what to run in the burn and heavy slots.

Blue gear seemingly continues to scale to your current PL as playing with characters in the low 290s PL the blues are dropping at 284 PL (which could be useful if someone is planning on doing 2 or more of the same class characters).

Yeah, there's something funky with the blues' power level after you cross 265. My friend was getting 275 blues, while I was getting 270/71 blues at 280, but I got lucky and found a legendary mod for my helm and that kickstarted higher level blues for me. I guess there's some hidden calculation about this stuff?

The vanguard Scout Rifle that Zavala offers you for completing a side-quest/adventure(I'm not sure about this) is pretty much the best kinetic legendary SR.

I turned in about six milestones tonight, plus one exotic engram and four Legendary engrams. power level didn't build quite as much as I thought it might of from all of that, At around PL 266, am I going to have to go back and infuse my old exotics in my vault to really push it up there?

Also, I got two or the same exotic weapons back to back, threw the lower level one in the vauly, it good for anything, or should I dismantle it?

Oh, and I'm sitting at like 120 Legendary shards, any idea what Xur wants for a weapon yet, or are we all going in blind here?

I've still got most of my adventures untouched, and the post campaign quests, I've been busy checking out everything else, I assume that they're super worth doing.

Oh, and I used a Guided Games token for this Nightfall. Worked great, good blokes, knew what they were doing. Joined their clan after, pretty happy with the system, will it work for Raids too?

My friends all have conflicting schedules and one's currently waiting for his wife to pop out her baby any minute now.

Who knows when i'll get to raid with them. Must stay strong in avoiding raid details...

I hope you all spoiler raid stuff for the first week ;p lol but i wont be upset if you dont.

I could have sworn it was high impact. Maybe I confused it with other HCs I used in PvP. But agree with last statement, only good PVP cannons are mid. Otherwise, they don't damage fast enough (low impact high rate) or fire fast enough (high impact low rate) to be effective. Mid tier is good.

Sunshot. Its great!

I got Gravitron Lance last night from a Public Event exotic engram.

I also got an exotic sparrow from a bright engram, which I was not expecting.

Lincoln Green is pretty fun in PVP. Awful for PVE though, just awful.

They need to give this bad boy some more range, it's got both low stability and range but it's TTK just feels right. Total skill rifle.

Nameless midnight is the best PvE scout. You can get it from zavala.

Been using the seven-six-five, which is essentially a hung jury (especially with white and blue shader) but has full auto but I've found it has really low impact for me tbh and without the god roll of hung jury, I'm not much of a fan.

So they new update will let me raid with strangers? No voice-chat required?

I think Guided games are basically highly rated clans carrying you through raids using matchmaking. But, I've never played a Destiny raid that didn't require voice chat. The mechanics involved usually demand that you interact with the rest of the team.
