Not really, considering you're like the only person in here stripping away large parts of its gameplay in order for you to personally have a good time. I've literally seen no one else in reviews let alone this thread saying they need to cut out major elements of combat or whatever to make it challenging or fun for them. It's not a "legit critique" at all since you're the 1% of people having this kind of issue with it.
Also, Sucker Punch isn't known for difficult games. They've always had an accessible library that focuses more on power fantasy and narrative, not "Hey lets see how many fans we can cause to rage quit our work."
Coming into this game ignoring their past games' architecture with the thought, hope or expectation that the combat would be on the same level of difficulty, let alone depth of something like Nioh or a From title is ridiculous.
I hope to hell youre playing on Hard with the expert HUD on, with no sword or armor upgrades, without using any tools (bow included), without Detective Jin Vision, and without finding any shrines or completing mythic tales. And in Kurosawa Mode.
