I stopped being fond of Japanese companies all together. Most of the hot shots make their games no different than western companies. But the worst thing is that they run their game divisions lake absolute shit. SEGA, SQUARE, KONAMI, what an absolute shit show.

The only respectable ones are like Bandai Namco, FROM (but they only make like one game. and published by bandai) and CAPCOM .

Not true at all; Sony bundles some things together in ways that obfuscate what the individual items sell/how they are performing. Sony also has many divisions and they don't all release the same level of detail.

I think a lot of people are unaware how close Xbox One and PS4 were in sales in the US. It was something like 33 million to 28 million in favor of the PS4 in 2020. I think it's pretty likely that Xbox takes the lead in the US again like in the 360 gen.

It was $35 wholesale price not retail so most likely higher end AAA releases. So it's not really the full catalog of games on the platform. This isn't comparable to Game pass and shouldn't be at the top tier of a sub service.

Like I said, everything above the indies price range.
It offers more games than gamepass, plus demos for AAA releases day one.
The top tier is retro, this is just the icing in the cake.

Charging for trials and demos isn't a good policy and I hope it doesn't take off. There is no guarantee any of these trials will be day one, it has to be within 3 months. I hope MS stays miles away from this policy and judging by how they are doing so far, they will.
