Quite the opposite if you need to know. I don't like this subscription/cloud future so it doesn't bother me that it isn't going nearly as well as people expected.
Seems it's going better than anyone expected with Game Pass doing wonders and Sony following suit by doubling down on subscriptions and internally calling Spartacus a "Game Pass competitor."
MS multiple times and Xbox fans. That was the excuse they came up to stop showing the numbers, but now that it suits them, for the briefest of moments, it became a relevant metric again.
Ah yes, the dirty Xbox fans, amirite? Sounds like you have a persecution complex and that's the real issue here. Microsoft didn't announce numbers, which you're crying about, yet at the same time complaining that they're now showing numbers because it suits them. Pick one, you can't have it both ways.
In Sony's reports, everything is literally painted down to a specific figure.
There are some abstract percentages in Microsoft reports.
Except you're intentionally leaving out the fact that Sony bundles things together all the time, and in the video game sector did so by combining PS2 and PS3 sales when next gen wasn't doing so hot. Then they started announcing numbers. I wonder why? FYI, MS doesn't announce numbers on any of their products, even the ones making them 17bil profit each year.
Not true at all; Sony bundles some things together in ways that obfuscate what the individual items sell/how they are performing. Sony also has many divisions and they don't all release the same level of detail.
What makes you think MS needs any excuses to not release numbers anyways? They are bound to investors; the figures they release literally exist for investors to digest and no other reasons.
If the numbers were insanely high, would MS change their mind? Maybe... but they still really don't need to nor are investors asking for it.
Only fanboys give 2 shits about this crap.
Bingo.
Except Microsoft used to.
Then things went less well for them and they decided to hide the numbers.
They took their ball and went home. OK fair enough, their preogative. But then you have a senior exec referencing VGChartz of all things
Seems their investors and biggest company leadership are more than happy which is all that matters regarding numbers. And lol @ getting salty about Greenburg doing what he always does on Twitter. At this point if that still makes you mad then I say it's working as intended.
You're really triggered because I said was surprised they didn't release a GamePass sub number?
And getting giddy about profit of the whole company on a gaming-focused forum. That's a pretty pathetic outcome, but hey, whatever rocks your boat.
Didn't they announce numbers the past two January's? You're
concerned surprised they didn't release numbers in April?
