I want to know if they are going to skip the NHS part. I won't know because I have no idea where it was supposed to be.
The ceremony showed what Britain is best at: Art, music, engineering, innovation, humour, multiculturalism, equality, inspiration, history and of course, being individual. Unlike Beijing, this wasn't a money throwing spectacle - it was a ceremony that no other country could have dreamed up.
Uh a lot of us want a single payer system. Can't wait to see how the US reacts to the NHS segment.
"Why would a nation be celebrating a Socalist Health Service?"

And we don't know anything about him. It'd be a good idea to leave the international commentaros explain things like this, but for this part they were in silence.Dizzee grew up on a poor area 10mins from where the Stadium. Local boy done good is a better message for the Olympics than rich old dudes past their prime.
Her royal majesty the queen.Maj-Ical?

Not really. I can't comment on the history bit, but Beijing was very robotic and this is the opposite of that. The contrast is so large that I almost feel like it was done intentionally to spite them. Why was Beijing only a throwing money spectacle? Beijing had a lot of China history, if you didn't get it don't say there wasn't soul. You could say the same for this ceremony as a non-Britain.
Maj-Ical?
