Nice to see Tunisia keep it close. But the US is in neutral right now.

And they think they can beat the 92 team playing this lazy?

GB women's Volleyball team:

In 2010 funding was cut and the squad have been forced to raise money themselves, with the help of Cary Wicks.

"I've run an 'adopt an Olympian' scheme at schools across the country," she explained.
"We've got about 70 schools following the team's progress and I would imagine many pupils and teachers were watching them last night as they made history."

As well as fundraising Cary Wicks, and her neighbours, gave the British squad free lodging for their training camp following the funding cuts.

The next summer they had to stay in a fire station , and every player has made significant personal and financial sacrifices to appear in London this summer.

Lucy Wicks, who is from Poole in Dorset, has let her licence as a physiotherapist lapse in order to commit to her training schedule.

Team GB will have an opportunity to continue their good form when they face world champions Italy on Wednesday.

The treatment of their team has been disgraceful.

GB needs to get their first gold tomorrow or else panic mode engage

First several golds, I think. We have good chances in the time trials and the rowing, and pretty good in the swimming final we've got two brits in. Maybe a tiny chance in the kayakking if lots of people screw up, but don't hold your breath on that!

lol coach K pulls the entire lineup

But they'd actually be motivated and give a fuck is the point.
Not doubting that, Frank, and not suggesting it'd be a slaughter either way. Just that they aren't stone-cold killers like on that team, which would be the difference, imo.

Can someone tell me where I can watch the replays of major wins/events? I went to nbc site and they don't have shit except for Beijing and there are none on youtube because they take them down. How can I see what I missed? I don't understand what is wrong with them why do they make it so difficult. There should be a huge caption at nbc site saying 'WANT TO SEE THE GOLD MEDAL WIN EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT? WELL CLICK HERE AND WE'LL SHOW YOU IN HD!" why is that so fucking hard.

Hrm? You're not exploring the site as much as you should then. There's videos posted in every sport section.

edit: Damn, the bench players out for USA are killin' it.

Yuu must have a cable subscription ...

Man, I HATE NBC! You know what's going on at the local nbc broadcast? They just reported that the women's gymnastic just won gold...and to rub it all in they're like "You want be able to watch it until later tonight". You know what nbc? You can go shove it down the loo.

I'm more mad at Comcast.

What teh fuck is an XFinity and why do I need to have it despite having all of the NBC channels to watch a fucking stream?

Atlanta's local affiliate has promised not to spoil anything ahead of time thankfully, but it's really hard when the rest of the world is trying their best to spoil it for you.

Well here's something I just noticed: Going through the NBC website normally to watch the basketball game takes you to the NBCSN simulcast (commercials, inane comments, etc.). But if you click around, you can find a feed labeled "Men's Group A: TUN vs. USA" for the Olympic feed free of all that.

It's nice to have choices.

I went there but every event I want to see ends up saying 'concluded' and you can't see anything. And it doesn't show events from the previous days.

I want to see when Dana Vollmer won the world record and hear the commentary/reaction in the background and I can't get this anywhere. I can't find anything from day one or day 2 anywhere on the internet except shakey cam without sound. Why does it have to be so difficult.

The ones that say concluded are the "primetime" ones I think. Not sure they will be on the site until the evening broadcast is over.
