Yeah baseball somehow makes buckets of money

In terms of popularity though he probably had it right.

Well Baseball teams kind of play 162 games. Even those crappy games where only 7,000 to 10,000 people show up it adds up overtime.

NFL play only 16 but they sell out 65 to 100 K + every time.

and goddamn lebron is the best passer in the NBA ever

This has nothing to do with what I bolded.

And I didn't mean to say higher than they ever had I meant since the Jordan era.

To be fair when I responded to your unedited post I don't think that point was bolded. I will agree NBA is on the up and up in that regard though. And I'm so happy for that. NBA should be more popular than MLB, its so much more exciting and intense.

....wat.

Oh well. I'll try again later.
It took so long to register an account that I began to think maybe it did require a higher tier subscription, but there was never a message that explicitly said I had to upgrade. Even after registering, however, I have experienced other errors. For most of yesterday, for instance, it wouldn't let me access video, even though I was signed in.

MLB about to make even more with NBC and CBS getting back in to the baseball game. (CBS might do Playoff Games, while NBC wants to get Costas, Michaels, and steal more from ESPN talent for their Network and Saturday/Sunday/Monday Strip for Prime Time - if they win the MLB Contract) MLB will get a fuckton of money (Fox is never gonna get Baseball back - Comcast is all over talking to the comish, greasing MLB Network folk...making that ship run)

The Astros are crappy on a historical level. I doubt they even pull 6k a game. Nothing to do with what you said just felt like bashing my historically bad shit baseball team.

Tickets aren't what drive revenue. Media deals are the big cash generator.

This is what Stern's been burning about for the last 4 years.

2016 gonna be a fucking madhouse. Stern want that NFL type money but he dont got NFL type ratings unless its Finals.

Woo, an alley-oop. Lebron does those like four times a game.

Rondo is the best PG in the game though.

I may have purposely left out Rondo. :) But I don't think he's close to being the best PG in the game when compared to the likes of D Rose and CP3. Definitely top 5 though.

Such a shame Derrick Rose couldn't be at the Olympics right now.

Yeah I'm bummed about that.

Rondo is my favorite PG for his attitude and his ability to hit crazy fucking shots during pressure (evidenced by his performance last postseason). He and KG were the only reason the Celtics were hanging with the Heat.

See, NBC needs to Generate that Money. Capital you see. They have to beat ESPN at all cost, but to save their cable brands as well. You saw what happend to Viacom and Direct TV. That ESPN Tax cant last forever. This is to force ESPN to Lower the Tax.

Yeah I was talking about popularity, not revenue. Everytime I turn on a baseball game that's not in the playoffs, I never see a sellout crowd or even close to it besides the Yankees. It seems like only a handful of teams sells out.

I watched enough college b-ball to know Coach K was reading the riot act at the guys during halftime. Mass changes plus more aggression fighting through screens/picks and daring Tunisia to drive with success.

You guys are forgetting about NASCAR. Americans love that shit. From Wikipedia:

Thats viewership, and that was from years ago. Fox isnt going to hold Nascar for long, NBC or CBS (with Turner) will have rights to that one, but they gonna have to ask for half the races to be road races.
