An English article please. I think German articles may be biased...

lol i'm not going to spent my time searching for articles, tbh i dont even care about you or what you think (or anyone else for that matter, it's not like anyone has any say on the matter or meaningful influence to change things). this might be a good read for you though: http://www.fencing.net/forums/thread57865.html

they (more knowledge people) are basically arguing back and forth. have fun.

To be fair, I think that line of reasoning (she accepted the restart from the ref) is the justification that was used to reject the appeals. Whether or not you accept that justification or think it's a bit weaselly is another matter irrespective of which language an article is written in.

This situation isn't as bad as the '72 basketball fiasco, but it does leave a definite sour taste.

Moving on!

I don't know why so few rowers don't go full-on beast mode from the start. You'll tire out in the end but that wouldn't be a problem if you open up a huge lead, it'd be a problem if the others are as good as you and have the same tactic...

Some people don have the stamina to do that. Some are better as sprinters by keeping in the shoulder of the leader to the end, then going for it.

The same reason 400m and up runners don't sprint the first 100-200m. They'd be slower over the course.

Sigh. Another useless silver.

Great to see the GB lady finally get a gold though. (I'm calling this early lol)
