Shitty fucking terrible NBC stream of constant buffering finally caught up and finished the match, wow Murray! The Murray that played today would wipe the floor with the Federer that played today, final tomorrow could be pretty interesting!

What's going on with the BBC live updates page? Hasn't updated in 10 minutes, no news of Murray's win yet or even the final couple of games of the match.

Seems to be in the top bullet points that he's won, but no actual updates about it. Annoying as that's a good way to see who's competing in what event for GB.

Lawl, Murray has another chance to win something big, hope it wins. It would be absolutely stunning for him, the crowd, and tennis in general for him to win.

I'm a huge fan of Djokovic, but I have to admit, even I was kinda rooting for Murray. Not ot mention Novak plays terribly when the crowd is against him. Not that he did this game, but not very well.

I don't follow Tennis as much as I should, so I'm pretty ignorant on some things. How seriously do these Athletes take the Olympic tournament? Is it considered prestigious? It seems so since the top players are there, but I was just wondering.

They take it pretty seriously, and it is considered prestigious - not on the same level as Grand Slam titles, but still prestigious.

That's the best I've ever seen Murray play.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

Yeah, aggressive, tough in the clutch, few bad errors, brilliant shot choice.

I thought Del Potro played one of the best matches of his career but he's just not fast enough to deal with Federer's shots, and didn't impose his power enough.

Shouldn't he be terrible at US Open then? :P

Guys I lost my voice screaming so much. Andy was great! We kept the Serbians around ua quiet at the end!

Thousands of us waiting to cheer him off still as he does interviews. What a giant!

Amazing experience. Will post pictures when I get back!

considering what's at stake, i'd say that the final will be the most important event of the year for both Murray and Federer (excl. the wimbledon final)

Not sure I've ever seen Murray play better.

So soon after his Wimby heartbreak too, impressive.

Think I have, but he seems to have developed some steel on the big points on his serve, which I've found to be his weakness in the past. Problem is he ends up in that position all too often.

And that's why China and GB got robbed yesterday (well mainly China)

Both. GB would have one. Faster lead out and faster finisher in Pendleton I think. Shall see in the individual sprint. Be a food match up but Mears looks shot. Wouldn't put it past a bit of a comeback though.

I hope Murray can win. I don't follow tennis much but it seems like he's been second banana behind Nadal Federer and Djoker for so long.
