Instead of going up and over, and onto the mat she went up about 10 feet, and came backwards onto the track.

She seems fine though. Landed well not to get hurt.

Not sure if you're joking, but if not you should really search for an interview Ian Thorpe did on the BBC regarding this. He said, for <17 year olds, personal bests mean absolutely nothing as the rate of change in their body is much higher than that of an adult. It's really not as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be.
