Not true, if you noticed in the 100 heats Asafa Powell drifted into another runners lane and he was fine. Hardee should be ok as long as he didn't obstruct another runner.

Well the decathlon lasts 2 days, so maybe the previous infraction happened on day 2 which would make more sense. I'm hoping there is some sort of reasonable statute of limitations here that doesn't exceed 24 hours

None of NBC's streams or highlights have worked for me on Chrome (Invalid perameters), so I've been using Internet Explorer and I have to say that giving me a pop-up to notify me that you blocked a pop-up seems counter-productive. The fact that there are pop-ups to be blocked on top of all the video advertising is pretty off-putting.
Personaly, as a Brit I'm 100% satisfied with Team GB's performance. It's completely unprecedented and the definition of over-achievement. Any medals here on in are just a bonus. I don't think any massaging of the figures is necessary to make the achievement any greater. Wonderful stuff.

It depends where you step on the line. If you step on the line in last straight 100m it depends that do you obstruct another runner. If you step on the line in curve you get automatically disqualifed as it's defined that you are taking shortcut.

Actually thats not the correct attitude to take either. I would rather no percentage of money go to the arts or sport. Let big business strike deals with Team GB for sponsorship deals and leave it at that.

It was on the turn so yes it would be a DQ from that event. It's nearly impossible to medal with only 9 event scores in the decathlon
