Congrats to the U.S. for first place, China for the second and UK for a strong showing, allowing them to climb to the third place.
And lets not forget that time-winners Botswana, Cyprus, Gabon, Grenada, Guatemala, and Montenegro deserve some recognition too! Bahrain got their first medal too, but they pretty much rely on naturalized athletes only, there is no fun in that.
Overall, a solid Olympics with corporate-whoring to the max, but a fun watch nonetheless. I didn't like however the sheer number of dubious calls by judges. Boxing was rigged, Gymnastics had some athletes that were robbed of Gold, and even in athletics there were some dumb procedures. Pretty embarrassing stuff, but I don't get the feeling the IOC cares at all as long as money flows.

It sure wouldn't be a big deal to have naked girls there. Just watch Rio's Carnaval. I hate Caranval overall, but I have to admit those women make me watch it every year. God damn. They are awesome.

The torch was great, but as someone else in this thread mentioned earlier, its placement was all wrong.
It should have been lifted to somewhere much higher and more obvious. Where it was meant you only really saw it when a camera was focusing on it, rather than seeing it in the background of the games itself.
