Buying them from Granny at Marina is the fastest way to get Raw Meat.

Fastest way to get Well-done Steaks is to use the BBQ Mask on Cha-Cha or Kayamba. I have never been able to get a Rare Steak, only Well-done or Burnt (or it is still raw meat because I failed miserably lol).

Did you go to the area under the big dunes? The one where you jump off the tiny nub of a cliff? That's where it sleeps.

A little over 100 for me (I don't remember the exact amount). Most of it was multiplayer, but I've done a good amount of single player.

Ivory Lagiacrus is rough. Stupid electricity has a pretty wide hitbox. :(

But we managed.

I totally gotta get some better armor now. My Jaggi S armor likely isn't gonna cut it much longer. lol

Heh, I did that with a Barroth online last night.

It started to charge towards me, so I pulled out Sword Mode on my SA and slashed him in the head. Was pretty awesome.

Gunlance is pretty fun in multiplayer. Being able to withstand many attacks from monster without flinching while seeing the rest of your party flies is awesome.

Has anyone played this game on a 3DS XL? How does the game look on the larger screen?

I have a chance to replace my 3DS with one for a negligible loss, and I'm tempted to specifically for this game. It has made up the vast majority of my 3DS playtime and I feel like it would benefit from a larger screen, but I'm worried about the IQ taking a hit. I didn't really mind the DSi XL but I played mostly 2D games, and pixelation bothers me quite a bit more for 3D games.

It's pretty blurry but keep in mind I played it after spending quite a while with the Wii U version so it was a bit of a shock in comparison. Still looks good most of the time, and with 3D off they actually apply AA which is nice. Really is the first game where the "You can see the pixels" flaw about the XL was really noticeable to me though.

I thought about doing the same, but the IQ hit bothers me too much. I've even thought about getting a WiiU, but I'm trying to stay away from home consoles :|

Thanks for the opinions about the XL. I'm planning to try it out with this game before making any final decisions, but I have a better idea of what to expect.
 
Is Diablos GS the best GS for crit drawing (which is the only GS anyways, right?)? Actually, it has green sharpness so that's kind of annoying hmmm.

I suppose there's elemental weaknesses to take into consideration but no one has time for that hence all the Dios weapons.
