In all seriousness, Coach Spo has always struck me as a cool dude and it's nice to see him deal with all the shit he took earlier in the season and still come out a winner.
No matter what he does in his entire coaching career, he will always...ALWAYS be known as the biggest joke of a head coach in NBA history. He fell into a head coaching position like Miami fell into being fourth quarter fans.

And I'm a LeBron fan.

These guys didn't post all season. Not all of them. Ph33nix, Cerrius, Miami-Wesker sure. And that newer guy who came in when I did (sorry, Joel Anthony Avatar guy, forgot your username).

But these other cats? Where were they all season, hell all series long? They show up now and expect to not get shit on? Pah-lease.

Hey ive been here most of the season lol...

I was laughing at Wade and Lebron crying , Wade won a fucking title a couple years ago lol

I think it had more to do with them doing nothing against good teams in the regular season, Boston owning them all season, the terrible record in close games, and all the doubt. Maybe they were overcome with some emotion. Who cares?

And Miami gets the benefit of the doubt with calls simply cause they drive. Boston doesn't. Quit crying.

As a jilted Cavs fan, I am at once sad that Lebron is one step closer, and glad that I can stop rooting for the Celtics.

Heat/Bulls should be good if it happens. This year's playoffs are insane though, so I don't count anything out.

Well If someone had to beat my Celtics at least it's the Heat did since Wade, Bosh and Lebron are my favorite players I still have a team to root for.
How is that even possible? This is very confusing.

Two things that fucked us up this year.

1. Not signing a Decent Backup Center that didnt have a history of hurting himself.

2. Marquis Going out.

They were going to get Tony Allen for peanuts but Rudy Gay became out for the year. That didn't help them either.

What was that NBA-age, the Heat wouldn't get out of the second round???? OOPS. In five games.

Woooooooooo!!!!

It was a great accomplishment beating a team that had a one-armed PG for over half the series and an injury riddled bench. Not to mention the Perkins trade that completely FUBARed team chemistry.

This was not the same Celtics from last year. Yet the Heat players are prancing around like they just won the championship. They're going to be in for a rude surprise when they realize the remaining teams are far more healthy and more athletic than the Celtics.

Fuck the Heat anyway. You guys had to teamup two superstars and a perenial all-star in their primes just to take out the Boston Geriatrics. Outside of Wade, the Heat are filled with pussys. Pussy Bosh and Pussy Lebron. Lebron wouldn't have even been in the position to dagger the Celts if Wade hadn't carried the team for 3 quarters.

Lebron gets Kudos for playing well for a quarter and a half? Really? Fuck that. Fuck that no one is calling him out on his uneven inconsistent performance tonight. It's easy to pose for a couple of 3 point daggers when Wade carried your ass the whole game.

The Celtics should have exposed the Heat, but it just wasn't going to happen with Rondo playing with one arm and with the age of the rest of the vets. It seems like they kept getting gassed in the 4th quarters all series long.

fuck that. this loss wasn't Delonte's fault. His offense and defense were fine. And Kristic was okay too. But Jeff Green and Glenn Davis were a fucking problem.

If they had Kendrick Perkins and a healthy Rondo...well...it doesn't matter now. Jeff Green was worthless and for the second game in a row, Paul Pierce made horrible decisions with passes down the stretch.

Just looking at the stats I don't see how Green was worse then West. He went 3-5 and 1-1 from 3 with 10 points, He had more rebounds and assists then West, 1 less turnover and 2 less fouls. He did have a part of that crazy turnover late in the 4th but that was mostly Pierces fault.

If you're going to blame one person for the loss tonight it would be Pierce. 5-12 for 12 points, 1-3 3's, 1 free throw made, 4 turnovers and 5 fouls.

Perkins was traded to shore up the bench after Daniels went down. Losing Daniels and Tony Allen did them in.

Well, I won't deny the Tony Allen thing was a big loss and a mistake. But the Celtics were arguably the best team until the trading deadline. After, they were pretty much accepted as not.

So yeah, perhaps things would be different if they never let Allen walk (I think Daniels' impact is overstated), and it was fine to trade Perkins but not for Green. green sucks. By making Baby get more minutes and adding some to Green, he made the bench worse.

Whether they would have won or not, I dunno, but I think they were definitely worse post trade than before.

green is bad in ways the boxscore does not show it. His missed layup was a big time momentum thing, too.

if thats the finals then jesus help us all.
There's a chance that three of the four teams in the conference finals will feature teams that are made up of ISO-style offenses.

The three starting pointguards on those teams? Westbrook, Bibby, and Rose. We are so fucked.

Sigh...grats to the Heat. Can't say that I will ever root for them though. I would say more but there is really no point. I now root for the macs. I think it would be cool to see Cuban win one because he has put a ton of work and love into that team.

The fucked up thing is the Heat managed to scrap a win in the last dying minutes of the game against a team of players that would fit quite nicely in hospital waiting room. They are all most busted or old....

But the Heatles won there championship against the Celtics, no need to play no mo games....

Yeah, I'm kind of shocked the refs are letting Allen and Battier drape themselves on Durant.

And there's the whistle.

I think the refs will be utterly confused on what to do if OKC plays the Heat. Flip a coin each game to see who gets the calls?

This thread has a lot of idiots. Just because some don't post here play by = who are you? and lifelong responses. Lebron and D-Wade are 2 of the most popular stars in the NBA, why the fuck are you surprised that some are happy for them?

Seriously STFU and stay salty

Edit:

Bulls don't stand a chance. Mavericks could upset the Heat.

This thread is amazing. God I cannot wait to see the meltdowns if (I want to say when but I will keep expectations in check a little bit longer) we win it all.

Shut the fuck up. We can harass the living hell out of them. They never show up, don't sell out their home court for playoff games, and don't follow the game.

And I'm a LeBron fan.

Do people really give a fuck if they don't sell out a game? Y'all take this shit way to seriously.

I'm a life long fan & I only care if they win so I can laugh as the bitches cry.

Lebron was smart. I doubt anyone will talk about Wade carrying the team for 3 quarters, instead it will be about the final 10 points. Masterfully done.

We really could have used him this year.

We need to let most everyone go for next year that is not the big 4.

Heat or Thunder winning would make for some salty ass reactions out of this crowd. I think the only team that doesn't have a hate platoon on them are the Grizzlies.

Using +/- in the NBA is like preaching Win/Loss records for pitchers in baseball, they don't mean shit.

Celtics were I believe 33-10 without Perkins this season. You for some reason keep skipping the fact he didn't play this season.

And I'm a LeBron fan.

Listening to Doc's presser. I always like them. I'd be happy if Doc was my coach. Always classy and smart.

But [mostly] WITH Shaq. Where was Shaq since Perk left? You for some reason keep skipping the fact that Shaq stopped playing.

And +/- is what factually happened. It's stupid to rate players by it solely, but when an ENTIRE UNIT is negative, it means that unit got outscored. period.

Mavs and Hawks can beat the Heat. Not sure if the Bulls, Grizz, or Thunder can. LeBron was great and very clutch tonight, really impressed by the Heat.

Id say Grizz and Mavs. Randolph and Gasol will pose problems, but I don't know if their perimeter players can keep bron and wade at bay. As far as Dallas, they are just extremely deep compared to Miami.

How many of those games did they have Shaq?

How many .500+ teams did they beat w/ this current squad?
