It's so very simple. If it has aired in an episode, it isn't a spoiler. If it aired in a preview, it is. If it hints at what may happen(or expressly states that something doesn't happen...you know who you are), then it is a spoiler.

I think the Chinese already pretty much knew it was Jack Bauer ... Edgar's fuck up a few episodes back saw to that.

Beyond that, if he gave a random name - the Chinese would probably be able to look up at least some info to see if the name might possibly be legit.

While true, I don't want to put something up that mistakingly spoils something for the west coasters. Besides, the worst case scenario is that we have to look under spoiler tag :) No biggie.

The Chinese can't know every agent the US has. Make up a name if they say the have no record of this guy say he works for NSA or some other super secret alphabet soup organization. I hope someone at CTU hangs him by the balls for what he did.

Fuck the west coasters. They chose to live on the wrong side of the country.

But really, it's assumed that everybody knows that it's airing on the east. And if somebody wants to follow the discussion like Mimic does(and I do), they have no idea whether they can highlite something without reading a real spoiler.

Also, what the fuck? I was reserving the right to apologize and say that what you put up wasn't actually a spoiler, but instead I now adjust my assessment of you being a dick and instead say you're a total dick. How you can not fucking understand that saying the missle doesn't go towards DC and that Jack doesn't get handed over to the Chinese is a spoiler is beyond me.

Well, sucks for everyone that didn't participate in the deception. That means Audrey, Kim, Chase, Edgar (but he's a dumbass at keeping secrets), Heller, etc.

What a great ending, not as insane action packed like the one from season 3, but it was still great. I really wonder how they're going to introduce Jack Bauer next season.

Wow. Great show(s). Season 4 ranks right up there with Season 1. TEH AWESOME.

And I agree, poor Audrey.. I did feel genuinely sorry for her (even though she was often a total bitch earlier in the season).

They'll find a way. Maybe Kim will come back and be in danger, or Palmer will get a hold of him and call him back for some crisis that needs solving. I don't think it'll be that hard to do.

Good ending. I'm always hoping for another Season 1/2 "Bauer alone vs 10+ people and kicks ass" ending, but this one was sweet too. Starting up next season will be odd but I'm sure they'll figure something out. And note to Darth Vader, THAT'S how you do a 'NOOOOO!!!"

Yay for Tony and Michelle. Now stop getting kidnapped, honestly.

Best ending of 24 ever. I spotted that fake a mile away. Even Tony played it to fake perfection :lol

Vigilante Jack next season. I bet Kim and Chase come back with Jack next season. We need some big Elisha jugs!

First season I've watched as well, and I have to say awesome, awesome, awesome. It's too bad I didn't watch the first 3 seasons. I'm really interested in seeing them now.

How the heck is he gonna come back next season? IS he going to come back? It will be interesting. Too bad we have to wait till January! :(

I just checked around 24 has been renewed for 2 more seasons.

No only is 24 returning for 2 more seasons but it looks like House will be the lead in show next season.

I assumed it was an Allstate reference, or whatever commercial it is that Palmer talks about how something horrible will happen and mocks you for being too poor to do anything about it.

Hmm, probably the most "happy" ending 24's had. Yet, makes it hard for 4 of the MAIN characthers to come back. We know Jack will, but Tony, Michelle, and Palmer are unlikely to ever come back.
