It was pretty bad :( Terrible aiming, average graphics and the enemy AI was even worse. The missions captured the feel of the show though so oh well, I'll have to deal I guess.

This season was spectacular. I guess 24: The Game will be my next 24 fix. Any E3 impressions? I heard there was a playable build on the show floor...

I played some part where you had to storm a run down house. Was pretty disapointing. Graphics looked nice. I don't know if the cast is doing the voice work, but it wounded like them.

Only other thing I was able to get is that it happens before season 3. Michelle called Jack and mentioned he's in hot water with Chappel (Though I guess he's probably still pissed at jack after season 3 :p )

They showed a preview for next season?!?!?!? I got on the computer as soon as this episode was over. Someone tell me what was in it(I know it can't be much). Spoiler tags of course :) :) :)

Great episode, great ending, how in the hell are they going to bring Jack back?!?!?

darkiguana

They did a summary of seasons 1-4 saying that Jack saved The President, A city, A Nation, and then The world. Next season, they say something to the effect of - "If you think you know what's going to happen next, you don't know Jack". This of course means aliens. Heh. 24 + XFiles = Season 5 and 6

This whole chineese thing doesnt seem to be very liely to continue much longer. They won't believe Jack is dead without a body. They'll go public, the whole thing will come out. The president will claim it had to be done and that becasue they did it the missile was stoped.

Also, what the fuck? I was reserving the right to apologize and say that what you put up wasn't actually a spoiler, but instead I now adjust my assessment of you being a dick and instead say you're a total dick. How you can not fucking understand that saying the missle doesn't go towards DC and that Jack doesn't get handed over to the Chinese is a spoiler is beyond me.

Man... never seem more whining about spoiler tags... EVER

No only is 24 returning for 2 more seasons but it looks like House will be the lead in show next season.

AWESOME. :)

If this manny coto news is true, then all the better for the fresh writing blood, because
the writing team should look at their own damn season 5 hype reel. You know what was interesting on it?

NINA.

And you killed her, dammit! Now bring back that whole team of supervillains angle from season 2 and let these past four seasons make some bloody sense altogether!

I think a billion chinese lifes got spared. :D

Awesome show. Just speculation but do you think since Jack is out of the country that season 5 could take place in another country?

How about Jack and Mandy getting it on in Cancun? :lol

Oh, and just in case the secret service is watching, the TV president(Palmer) is a billion times better than your boss :p

I haven't watched this season. It came on but I always thought of getting the DVD because I can't just start watching halfway through.

But I realize that I don't even have the time to watch the whole thing.

So the plan is to watch the FIRST and LAST episode of the season. I used to do this back in elementary/junior high whenever we had to go to the library. I'd read the first 2-3 pages and the last few pages, and it felt like I saved a lot of potentially wasted time. It's a great feeling.

So yeah, I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'll be sure to post any questions I may have. heheh

So Manny Coto has done Enterprise. Hmmm...

Another writer slated for S5 is David Fury, who has done alot of Angel, and Buffy, and a few episodes of Lost. Might be interesting.

They said they were going to get a replacement.

That won't work at all, there's a bizillion plots on this show and nothing will make sense. You'll be better of whatchig the entire season.

Season five, Jack Bauer: Vigilante.
Fuck that - Season five, Jack Bauer: Jedi.

24 on Fox -> Star Wars show on Fox -> Bauer saves galaxy next season -> 24 = Starwars, Bauer = Jedi Master

Amen.

I don't want to fucking highlight stuff just to read it. Everyone complaining about spoilers just shut the fuck up and don't enter the thread.

I saw that as a replacement just to get a body on file. I doubt they'll find a body that could go through close scruitiny. They said it wouldn't hold up to an autopsy.

Just kinda realized something though....what happened to Berooz? Looks like they just kinda forgot about him :lol

I don't know whether I actually posted this in a previous thread or if I just intended to, but he's dead. It's pretty clear that Marwan didn't want him for anything but to be a distraction for CTU, and he had no problem killing his mother. There was just never any reason to say "Hey, the kid who the terrorists took into custody as a diversion got shot in the face after we left him".

Its just the last scene involving him, he was asked what to do with him and Marwan was like "I don't know". Kinda leaving it open. Logically you're right, but since when does 24 follow logic.

I never really even watched 24 until this season and now that I have, I've watched most the rest of the season (including tonite, which was awesome) and I think I'm gonna have to go back and rent the earlier seasons, too.

Awesome Season. Better than seasons 1? 2? I don't know, but I think people are just caught up in the moment.

One thing is for sure, I don't know how I'm going to wait until Janurary 2006!!!!

Tony said there wouldn't be an autopsy. All the administration wanted was Jack dead and that's what they got, confirmed by the agent sent to kill him. They have no reason to do an autopsy.

Goddamn, Mandy owns.

This is the first season I've seen of 24 (and I started watching with ep 7 or 8). Definitely going to get the other seasons. What an amazing show. :D

Great ending. Although I worry that they'll restore the status quo too quickly next season.

Now, to nitpick... I realize that since Elisha Cuthbert wasn't back this season, we're supposed to forget Kim exists... but really, if Jack could only make one phone call before "dying," wouldn't it be to Kim instead? Of course, contractual issues do tend to get in the way of plausibility from time to time.

i hope season 5 is a lil diff...and not in LA again where it seems the only CTU that matters is LA's and the only peoplpe who can stop global attacks are in LA.

maybe branch out to a new location!

Metal Gear Jack goes all fake-death-pill on the Chinese. Awesome!

All they needed was Tony going "Jack? Jack! JAAAAAACK!" to make the moment complete.

Here's something I'm surprised no one here caught [Season 5 continuity]:

Mandy has been granted a pardon for her past and present crimes. She's a free bird.

Marwan's associate (the helicopter pilot) mentioned a boat that Marwan was to escape on in international waters.

The Chinese agent investigating the superior responsible for the raid on the Chinese consolate mentioned a boat as well.

Both departure times were the exact same.

The plot thickens...

Top episode.

With that sought of ending I would have liked that to be the big finish for the show.

Then again thats not the case, so bring on Season 5 !

Ooooh, didn't even catch any of that. Those are some interesting deductions.

FoneBone - neither would I :lol , but I'm guessing that would make some people here *very* upset. Would make for a very cool season of 24 though.

I would drop "24" like a bad habit if they went that route.

Uh, no, I doubt it. President All-State already had a good idea of what's going on, potentially the resources to help Jack out some day, and no visible link to Bauer that might involve questions. Kim, on the other hand, would be one of the first people the intelligence community might look at to check for a whisper of Bauer.

I'm sure it pains Jack to keep her in the dark, but letting her know what's going on would be a bad, bad move.
