Alyssa Mercante has left Kotaku, supposedly layoffs happening now

Way To Go Applause GIF

the "rare Incel victory" are becoming "uncommon Incel victory"

"I have some things coming down the pike"

Yeah . Probably my next "Crunch Wrap Supreme" at the Taco Bell drive through. See you there, bitch!

Probably full time OF or something.
Hopefully she will loose all relevance she received undeservingly.

I don't like to see anyone ever lose their job, so I have a lot of empathy in that regard. However…..when was the last time that Kotaku was ever relevant???

Oh no how will the gaming journalism sphere manage without such amazing talent as alyssa mercunt, suppose she can go back to pimping out her holes to onlystans simps.

If you have a septum ring, red/blue/green/purple hair and tattoos dotted around your arms and legs that look like doodles on a child's school jotter, there's a 100% chance you are a progressive.

Yeah cause they're the same... :pie_eyeroll:
No, he's right. Two different sides of the same coin. They're both annoying culture war, Twitter-poisoned shitheads that get way more exposure than either of them actually deserve, which should be zero.

The coming journalist purge is going to be very satisfying. Turns out, journaling about things doesn't have much value in the new technological paradigm. You can get 24kt gold written content for free on social media. Fact checked in real time no less. They're going to cry and squeal on the way out, just ignore it. We'll all be better off with their wet blanket on the discourse.

It always tripped me out that people even continued to visit Kotaku. Especially GAF members. The place was worth visiting 10+ years ago, but then it just quickly downward spiraled into a mess of a site craving attention. I swore some folks were just masochists, lol.

Hopefully that site is done. I never really cared for Alyssa, but I definitely don't care about that SmashJT guy either. There's just too many twat personalities/influencers/content creators on the Internet IMO, lol.

Journalists are a thing of the past, and have been. The ones that were fairly wise went on to do YouTube or something similar. They attempted to adapt. But it's weird to me that so many just continued.
