Amplitude (Harmonix) PS3/PS4 - KS (Funded, final day)

With special touchscreen variant maybe? D-pad L/R for lane change and tap the nodes?

I've never played Amplitude. I HAVE played DJ Max Technika Tune! Please don't hit me if this is the worst idea you've ever heard.

I love DJ Max Technika, but the problem I have with it is that it's hard to find a comfortable position to play it except for resting your Vita on a table. I'd rather have a portable-friendly control scheme, and the one from the previous Rock Band games works perfectly.

Excess funding should go towards making the game better, rather than porting it to a moribund platform. I would like to see Stretch Goals like a "Frequency mode" (bring back the tunnel!) or online multiplayer.

The Vita version should just have its own Kickstarter so port beggars can put their money where their mouth is. Sony will be begging them for a port anyway, given how dire the state of development on the Vita will be in Spring 2015.

Some Michiru Yamane goodness coming everyone's way!

Skullgirls' publisher, Autumn Games, just gave $7500 to get a track from the game in!

25k to go.

But but but... no PC version!

No way this gets funded. Not a fucking chance

775k for a PS exclusive music SHMUP?

Good luck.

it passed 150K. That prediction site says the chance of success is 1% now :\

So shit this isn't gonna happen.

I guess now we know why no publishers wanted to fund this.

4 days to go, still not even half funded. Dead as dead can be :(

This, in particular, is smile inducing:

Sony owns the IP.

Don't expect a PC version.

At this rate don't expect a PS3 or PS4 version either.

Yep!
This has a 0% chance of happening.
Game over.

No thanks. I'm backing the game with hopes of a Vita version and I bet I'm not the only one.

I want a Vita version, but after thinking on it I kind of agree with this. Use that extra money to make the actual game better.

Well, did my part and pledged 20$, will gladly bump it the moment they announce a Vita port.
Would have pledged much more, but there are way too many digital only perks for my tastes... :(

Anyone else expecting the stretch goal in 30 minutes with 24 hours to go? Is there a cutoff for when you can add them onto a project page?

I was going to go with the $35 teir, but was was sold out. I went with the $20 tier.

This is my first kickstarter. I hope it makes.

To be honest with you, this Kickstarter is quite a extraordinary circumstance.

A ~$70 average backer rate has never happened before on a video game project, and is likely never to happen again.

Yeah the average is insane. Is there any place that has a list of average backer rates for other games? Would like to see how this one stacks up

I had serious doubts about this a few days ago:
I have no doubts that it will. Already 117k.
Yeah, time to update the KS with the stretch goals.

I am currently at the $35 level which means US code for PS3 and PS4. That doesn't help me with my EU region locked Vita though. (I consider Sony's method of region switching on the Vita a de facto region lock).

You don't know how VG Kickstarters work.

I'll happily eat crow on this as I didn't think it had a chance after how much was raised the first three days. Wish I would have upgraded my pledge to the $35 version. Oh well.

Developer has Vita as a platform just like PS3/PS4 from the beginning but they left out just to reduce the funding goal. It doesn't means its just a port and its version of Amplitude for Vita not just port.

Following this campaign has been nothing short of amazing. After the long slump this was in I would never have thought it'd make it.

If/when Vita goals gets posted I'll pledge myself. Something like this I'd much rather play on a portable than on my TV.

Great idea except that Vita owners buy a lot of games. A Vita version would be a smart move for Harmonix. Also they can make the best game they possibly can, and make the Vita version; they're not mutually exclusive.
