They don't. There are a ton that give better battery life than the iPhone. With that said, with Android unfortunately a settings on one app or a bad bug can make things go to shit. I personally don't know what that looks like as the two phones that I've been using have the best battery life I've ever seen and they happen to be top phones in terms of battery life.

What phones do you have?

Canada LOLLLLLLLLL

I wonder if carriers are still going to keep it at 650 no term for 32gb or increase it to match google.

Going for dat 64GB unless AP is wrong and it magically has an SD slot.

Good thing no one wants to buy it now, more chance for me to buy it >:)

Too much damn profit margin in phones. If I can get a Moto X pure 16GB from BB using my discount for $370 and the 32GB for $400. That means best buy is pocketing about $50 per sale, then Motorola must be making a good chunk of change on sales too.

Really? Seems poor next to the new Moto X which is almost £100 cheaper. Now it has no finger print reader true but it's a significant saving.

I thought the Moto X Style was around £400?

Stock Android, USB-C, probably better low light performance for the camera and yeah the fingerprint reader. I think it's a good step up.

Motomaker has it at £399, but these reviews quote £359 http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2015/09/moto-x-style-review-this-phone-does-android-better-than-google/ and http://arstechnica.co.uk/gadgets/20...at-400-the-moto-x-pure-edition-is-a-safe-bet/ whilst Clove have it for order at £350 https://www.clove.co.uk/motorola-moto-x-style

Edit - TechRadar also say Moto said £359 for it, odd that their website is so expensive compared to what they originally quoted and compared to Clove http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/moto-x-style-1300371/review

What's google's return policy on phones?

https://support.google.com/store/answer/2411741?hl=en
Google wants you to love the devices and accessories that you buy from the Google Store. If you aren’t happy with something you bought, you can return an item within 15 calendar days after the day you received it. We’ll send a full refund (minus your original shipping & handling charges) to your original payment method within 14 business days after Google receives the device.

Google are so lucky the moto didn't have a fingerprint scanner at the price it's at now

if it did the nexus would have been DOA.

Damn looks like I might not be buying anything today at all....new chromecast probably won't be available here right away like last time

please let the prices be wrong...I can afford it but it means beans on toast for 2 days lol

The screen, camera, and battery life on the Moto is jank. Moto has this following I do not understand.

People bitched about the screen on the N6 but I never noticed an issue with it while I had it but I never looked into it much it was the first Nexus I never tinkered with much apart from trying Cyanogen and the Dev previews.

Camera I don't care about

Battery in the moto is a little less granted but not by a huge margin

Either way, if I was looking to spend around £350 I would get the 5X or even a Nexus 6.

I think Motorola dropped the ball this year in a big way.

Watch Google sell like 5,000 units of the 6P and 40 units of the 5X. Bet these phones flop harder than the Nexus 6, especially without carrier support.

So i got the Nexus 9.

I never had an Android device, what are some essential apps, if anything? There's like a billion of them, it feels somewhat overwhelming.

Also, i need one to stream media from my computer, in particular, because i got the 16GB version.

Depends what you want to do with it really. Top of my head, my usual essentials are Pocket, Pushbullet, Google Rewards, Unified Remote, Onenote... (and all the Google stuff but thats already pre installed)

For Streaming, Plex.

If you have Amazon Prime, install the Amazon Underground app (from Amazon directly, not available through Play Store), they have a lot of paid apps for free.
