It seems most of the complaints about the original mini was it was not small enough. I think this is a great differentiation between the two models now.

update on rokr from Cingular's site. It says "Easily store up to 100 songs on the included microSD card." That makes it sound like you can upgrade the card for more songs. a 512MB mSD/TFlash card is around $70 currently.

So for $320 you could have a 512MB iPod inside your phone.

Though certainly not as sexy as the nano

OMG. Nano is amazing! Everything I loved shuffle for, but with a screen and a bigger capacity. This will be mine asap. This will sell truckloads, seriouslyh.

Did anyone else get a feeling that Apple is really giving Motorola the finger with the whole ROKR thing? It looks incredibly lame, especially as Apple chose to unveil Nano the same day.

I think so. You know they got something right when I feel like buying this even though I absolutely don't need it.

I would first have to see whether they sorted out the audio quality problems though. They apparently did on Shuffle, but this is a different model altogether.

Been a iPod holdout until now.

Not anymore.

I do not have a ton of songs so 4 GB is fine.

The color screen and the size did it for me.
