Oh balls, my works Extras plan can't get EBGames giftcards for 10% off anymore
You can pretty easily buy all of the classic platformers like the Mario's and the Sonic's can't you?
Anyone have suggestions for fun but simple 2D platformers that I can easily buy? I need some inspiration for my 2D sidescroller (aiming for simplicity).
This bundle also includes the Hacker Evolution games which I was looking at, paid $5 for the lot, can't go wrong! Also they give out individual steam codes which is a nice touch over the one steam key.Saira was also pretty good and did some unique interesting things. You can get it now in the Indie Gala bundle (pay what you want), or I have a spare Steam code if you want a free copy.
Oh god the mac version of Super Meat Boy came out and I didn't even know! I can finally play it after paying for it a year ago lol.
I haven't since about a half year ago when I set up the modem. Now I've forgotten the password and can't get back into it. I could do a hard reboot and factory reset it but TPG TV has some weird settings I have no idea how to work. So basically I just sit here hoping nothing goes wrong.
Did you grab a GFWL game like Arkham City? Might just be pimping the update due to hit 360 tomorrowYo console nerds, why am I getting email from xboxlive all of a sudden. Did they transfer games for windows there and auto subscribe me to a making list?

Why is my right ear distorting things.
This is all very strange.
God DAMN, that's a good deal. How had they not sold out? If you need a transfer cable, holler. I think I have the disc somewhere, too.So I tweeted about the JB HiFi $169 Xbox 360 4Gb console. And then Harvey Norman come out with $158. Which is great as it means I can get my EB to price match! New 360 for only $140! Woo! Anyone want my 360 for $50? Will come with a 20Gb HDD once I transfer over all the content to the new one. Has a HDMI port.
I got Shadows of the Damned! I think the shipping was mega quick, too... pretty sure I ordered it, what, 10 days ago? Also received my $20 360 copy of NBA2K11 today from GAME. Woo!
The Ballad of John Riccitello is so fucking spot on, despite being YEARS after Remo wrote it.Just the continuing lol of how moronic they have been towards the consumer after the brief oasis that was Mirrors Edge, Dead Space and taking that dickhat Tim Langdell to court.
I fucking love Everlong, too. I'm not a massive fan of all their stuff, but when they hit a home run, they really fucking knock it out of the park. IMO, Grohl has shown himself to be far more talented and perhaps more influential (maybe, I dunno) that Cobain ever was. Take THAT, Courtney. Also, I think my favourite bit in any of their videos is the Big Me elevator music playing in the clip for Monkey Wrench. I'd kill to have a copy of that as a ringtone or something.Love Everlong. Perfect pop anthem. Dave Grohl put on some Beatles/Beach Boys and just said fuck the haters, I'm going to write a perfect song that will stand the test of time. Also was back in the time when their music videos were the pinnacle of the medium. Love the rock out at the end along with all the pop culture references. If only they still did them, the last one, for Low, was a bit shit.
You might regret eating so much delicious sushi when you're legging it, Reptile.
Stop complaining and go see a specialist tomorrow. Could be an ear infection or swelling blocking it up. Best to get it sorted out sooner rather than later. If there is an earthquake think how horrible your balance is going to be when you are running for your life.
I missed the question! You're right about the RAM in any case. As long as the manufacturer says it works with the mbd chipset. I hate how the Corsair website doesn't tell you this at a glance (it does tell you with some digging). The G Skill one does which is why I usually end up recommending that.Hopefully Fred can let us know if I am steering you the wrong way.
I can't be the only one who makes toast with one Peanut Butter, one Vegemite and then puts them together and eats it like a delicious sandwich right?

NEEDS to be done. Tastes so much better mixed in together. Perfect buddies they are, you can tell they have been best friends since that night they got wasted during O'Week together.I am totally with you on different spreads, but wtf at bolded.
Yeah, I already had something in mind from the same query on another forum... same mobo, different RAM (the G.Skill RipClaw 2x8gb 1600MHz). Case is all sorted (still rocking the Coolermaster 690-II Advanced) but might look into that heatsink, though. All up I'd be up for around $450, which way cheaper than I thought it would be to upgrade my core components. Is this what you were looking at Shaneus?
Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1600MHz 1.5V for $55
ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Motherboard for $139
Don't see the point in overclockable RAM or lower CL. Motherboard has SATA3, 7.1 Audio support and rear USB3.0 support (none at the front though). Looks good. MSY in Geelong would be even cheaper, give them a ring so they can get stock in just in case. They have a much better range than other places though. They are also open on Sundays which is great!
212 EVO CPU cooler for $39 would be a great idea, latest update of the 212+, will allow OC around 4GHz hopefully.
Crucial M4 SSD 128GB for $249 if you are feeling frisky. Mine came with the 0009 firmware so they should all be up and current. Very convenient but quite pricey.
Thinking of a new case too? PSU?
Hopefully Fred can let us know if I am steering you the wrong way.
Do they still sell diet vanilla Coke? I remember loving that shit, because the blandness of all the sugar substitutes cancelled out the (IMO) excessive sweetness of the vanilla, giving it a nice taste that wasn't at all overpowering. If you can find it, I highly suggest buying a shitload.I fell off the no Vanilla Coke wagon today after a horrible day at work, looks like Christmas time is the worst time of year for public housing. No one got stabbed today yet thankfully though! Red Rock Deli and Vanilla Coke consumption has skyrocketed since taking this stressful job. Put on 20 kilos in 2 years.

I went with 1333MHz as it is cheaper and everywhere I read made it seem like there isn't any real need for 1600 and above. Looks like it may be more important in the future to have a sizeable amount rather than the speed anyway. On the RAM, I assume most big brands are much of a muchness, but will 1600MHz be enough?

I'm working tomorrow right when the sale starts. That should be fun.
So the first song in 10 years by The Mark of Cain (Australia's greatest hard-rock band) has been released and is called Barkhammer. In order to hear it you have to have subscribed to their newsletter up to and including the 1st of December.
So, is it any good? Fuck yes. Whist not a radical departure from their previous work there is a noticeable lift in John Scott's singing which was rather surprising.
I have to say it's made the wait for their new album early next year excruciating.

Bolded the parts that have made this insanely long wait painful.According to their official website, The Mark of Cain commenced recording in February 2008 at Broadcast Studios (Adelaide, Australia) with John Stanier forming material for a new album set to be released in 2011. Mixing of the new album commenced in December 2010 in Melbourne Australia with Forrester Savell.

Vanilla Coke Zero? Fuuuuuuuck. Must try.Vanilla Coke Zero is the new hotness. I think it tastes just as good if not better
It's a good game. A laughable story can't prevent the actual game from being pretty enjoyable. I wish it was X-Com portable though. Or a Rebelstar game.
Here you go. Try not to smile at least once.

So it's crap.
The Kindle is not well suited to colouring books. Crayon is pretty hard to get off the screen. It also turns out that image-heavy PDFs don't play well with the .mobi format.
