Last spoiler warning. DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT AVENGERS #503 SPOILED.

From tommorrow's Wizard:

After tearing down Earth's Mightiest Heroes in 2004, Brian Michael Bendis engineers a brand new catastrophe for the Marvel Universe in 2005.

The architect of "Avenger Disassembled" unveils his latest design in May with The House of M, an eight-issue, bi-weekly mini series by Bendis and artist Olivier Coipel. While details for the summer event remain tightly guarded, the series will star both the Avengers and the X-Men and
will spin out of the evenrs of Avengers #503, which saw the Avengers' final battle against Scarlet Witch and the former heroine's fall from grace.

...

While the series revolves around Marvel's first family of malevolent mutants, Bendis is careful not to label Magneto, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as the story's villians, even refusing to reveal whether the "M" in the title stands for Magneto, mutants - or something else entirely.

...

Joe Quesada: "Not only are the Avengers still disassembling, the whole Marvel Universe is disassembling."

a rip off of identity crisis if i ever saw one. marvel is done for. they dont have a creative bone left in their collective body. DC WINS!! DC WINS!!! DC WINS!!!!

Wow. I'm not shocked at all.

Looking over the books that I buy every month or will buy, DC far outranks anything I buy from Marvel. I wonder why that is. ;)

What's with the hate? Joe Q and Bendis are gods!!!!!!!!!! ;)

For me, it's getting to the point that She-Hulk is the only Marvel comic truly worth buying.

Interesting... I wonder if these will be real long time effects felt in
Excalibur
and Avengers?

Oh yeah, and
apprently, Magneto is the "surprise" villain that appears on the last page. No word yet on if it's the imposter!

Can anybody tell me WTH is going on in Superman's The Vanishing storyline? I've been reading it but I haven't a clue... and this last issue... what did Superman figure out? What is Wonder Woman going to stop him from doing? And why the hell does the cover advertise a fight that doesn't even happen this issue??!?!?!?

LOL Dude if you have to come online and ask people what happened in an issue you just read then perhaps you should stop reading that book. Obviously it's crap if it can't tell a coherent story. By the way Superman has sucked since Simonson left, what 5 or something years ago.

I looked at this one... and my guess is that Superman
figured out how to make himself disappear, and he's going to risk vanishing forever to save Lois and the other victims.
That'd be my guess.

And yeah, the cover = big f*cking ripoff. I doubt there'll be a fight at all.

Thank you for your valued input, perhaps you could also offer me tips on life? Should I walk by starting with my right foot or my left foot first? Which one should come after that? Should I go to sleep when I'm tired? BTW I wasn't asking specifically about the issue I was asking about the storyline in general it was quicker to ask here then go back and read all of the issues leading up to this current one.

EDIT: Thanks Spike that's what I figured... but if that's the case why is Wonder Woman going to go FIGHT him to make him not make himself disappear? Superman seems to be the most level-headed of all of em... then again this is about Lois....
