This is what confuses me as well. Did we get an older build or something? The one NVIDIA was playing on stream also didn't have any stutter.

We got duped.

Ugh I caved and bought this last night from GMG cause of the 40% off and now this.

Did anyone get from GMG and try to refund?

So on top of the other shit that makes the game look worse than the current gen version and very sparse graphic settings with a 30FPS hard cap and a memory leak that I have to guess is first filling up your VRAM (or doing its best to do so) and then caching into system RAM until that's full and then onto virtual memory.

How was this missed? Or should I ask, how could they ignore this? WB is going back to their Atari days of quality control this generation.

So I preloaded the game while I was at work yesterday, and haven't had the chance to play it yet, but for some reason steam decided to download the entire ~38gb again just when I got home and was getting ready to play it. At first I was like "oh good an update" after reading the shitshow that is this thread, but no. Good thing I don't have a bandwidth cap.

very tempted to just go buy the ps4 version. Im going on vacation and will be back in a week, if its not acceptable by then I think thats what I will do. I love the Arkham games, one of my favorite series.. I want to see the end, but come the fuck on. How does this even happen

ok sorry, I don't understand what's going on then.. we had videos with the game running beautifully at 60 fps showcasing the Gameworks effects but now we have own Nvidia stream on Twitch running with all of them disabled and tearing left and right on a 3-Sli Titan X PC... what happened here ?

It is , people with minimum to recommended spec have horrid performance , so do people with 970s.

Between the Missing effects like Rain and AO.

The Default 30 FPS lock. The Hitching , crashing , constant framedrops. 5 Graphical settings.

You'd think a monkey worked on this port.

Does he have any estimate of when it will be fixed (or at least playable)? If it's anything more than a couple weeks, I'm getting the PS4 version tomorrow.

I just had to restart Steam and my download went back down to 0%. AT this rate, I'm never even going to get the game installed.

Thing is, there' still a 36gb folder in steamapps/downloading, is there any way I can get steam to recognize this?

Holy shit, just glanced through this thread. I got the game for free, I haven't even been able to try it yet, and I still feel burned. This game sounds like a relic from the early PS360, "lol pc is dead" era. Yikes, dude :(

I don't know why people get SLI if they aren't prepared to fiddle.

Nvidia Inspector and start playing around with SLI profiles. Good chance the AO of AC profile works.

Missing rain effects on the car and character is the biggest let down for me.

Was watching the Nvidia Batman stream and its pretty jarring against the wet environment and otherwise good looking game.

I was fiddling with the settings to try and get a stable playable experience and then I saw the comparisons, no ambient occlusion, missing water effects and all that. Turned off my pc and went to the store. Came home with my ps4 pre-order, so much better, the difference in playability is really noticeable for me.

I think its going to be months before this game is in the playable for human beings range.

Considering the fact that any developer would have released a press statement that they are actively working on a patch considering the amount of backlash and negative steam reviews for a AAA game .

The thing is Dark Souls was that it wasn't a bad port, it was just a strait 1 to 1 port - and that's what made it bad.

So this is easily worse than Dark Souls, at least with that you got everything the console version had..

I'm in the same boat, have the PS4 version in my cart on Amazon. I'd be pissed if I paid for the PC version.

Yeah, fuck it. If we don't hear anything from WB/IG/Rocksteady between now and when my paycheck comes tomorrow, I'm getting the PS4 version. If there was even some communication beyond "yeah, we're working on it" I'd be patient, but at this rate I don't expect it to work any time soon.

What a joke.

$70 down the gutter because that's what this port is, trash.

Thank God I only ended up paying £13 for this (presumably was an Nvidia code), otherwise I'd be really pissed.

The game is running good enough to play, but I hate having to lower my standards. This is a shite port.

This is a weird situation. I can run the Witcher no problem. This runs bad for me. Second bad PC version of a game from Warners.
