I'm really curious to see what's causing all the variations in experience. so many people having so many issues, and yet there are some like me who have encountered little to no issues. I can't even comprehend how that is.

I have SLI 980s and I pity those people with Titan X SLI Setups thinking they are going to get the better looking version of the game.

for all SR2/DS's failures, they were never the defacto pack-in for graphics cards to demonstrate their prowess.

Started playing the game tonight. It ran fine up until after
. The performance is horrible for me, constant stuttering. Watch Dogs ran better.

That's what drives me crazy! A GTX 970 absolutely destroys a 7870 so it shouldn't be running as poorly as it is on PC.

This game needs A LOT of work.
I'd be very surprised if any real fixes come within a week.
Fiddling is what got me into this hobby to begin with, I just don't feel that yields and support warrant the technology.
However, I haven't played Nvidia inspector with this title so i'll do that when I get home from work.

About the only positive thing going for me since I've never played the previous entries. Gives me enough time to play through them all as I wait for the patches to come in before I buy Arkham Knight.

Same! Was going to be the first game to reallllly test my 970 and now I'm just sad.
Unlikely as early on there were more gameworks effects - which people noticed half of them were axed when they started putting out the gameworks vids.
They scaled back from what they had.
that's why im curious, how can you be mad at a company for putting out a shitty product and then go right ahead and buy it again? i respect it, i just can't agree with it

Wouldn't count on it. It's the same thing that happened when MKX launched, the comments from Rocksteady are pretty similar to what Netherrealm said when when the PC port of MKX was revealed to be a turd.

Well after removing all traces of any AMD drivers from my system and reinstalling the CORRECTLY labelled windows 7 beta driver , teh game is somewhat playable ( ie mostly 30 with the occasional dip and stuttering during cut scenes)
Again it might be worth checking for some AMD users who got the patch from the mislabelled part of the AMD site, It doesn't magically fix the game but it gave a significant boost for me.

No. I got the game for free with my 980 ti. I had pre-ordered the ps4 version ages ago.

Lol This whole situation is backwards. Console versions having AO, better effects, better DOF and even though it's running at 30fps its running smoothly.

Sounds like Evolve , honestly I think anytime a game is willing to tell you it has a ton of DLC Planned . Its a bad sign.

All those people always asking if their 980 will run a game at 1080p or they should just get it for ps4 redeemed?
Well, MKX was at least playable for me and I have several hours in local VS.
I just haven't played story yet because the black crush in the story cutscenes still isn't fixed. They're too damn dark. So, yeah.

I am going to make the prediction that this game is not going to be fixed. The performance problems are too severe, so unless it's a quick fix I don't see them reengineering a game they have already made money from.

This port is so terrible it has people thinking Rocksteady/Iron Galaxy somehow uploaded a build from 3 years ago.
Well, since the pre-order DLC got yanked away from Nvidia code users last second, getting that back would be a nice start for those. A lot of people bought a new hardware specifically based on this game's promises in order to run this mess well, and can't even do that. They have a lot of gall doing that and delivering this.
