Not sure what you mean? Invisible wall? The move he does is Rock Solid where he turns into stone and temporarily become invincible. If you hit him, you recoil and open yourself up for a counter-attack.I’m not enjoying this too much. There are bugs that are horrible, like when the Tiger Yellow Wind boss hides behind an invisible wall and attacks from there. What gives?

You said Yellow Wind Tiger boss, so I thought you meant Tiger Vanguard. Sounds like you’re describing the Yellow Wind Sage who attacks you out ofWhen he moves too much he starts attacking from ledges/ridges outside the arena (space designated for the fight to occur) we fight in, where I can not reach and he will get behind invisible walls, super annoying.
Are you sure that isnt a special attack?
You said Yellow Wind Tiger boss, so I thought you meant Tiger Vanguard. Sounds like you’re describing the Yellow Wind Sage who attacks you out of bounds. That’s not a glitch or bug. You need the Wind Tamer.
Also, Yellow Wind Sage is a rat, not a tiger lol.
Hey squad. Does anyone know the best settings for visuals and performance for an 14900ks and rtx 4090?
You are gonna need to turn everything down to low, and run DLSS performance at 1080p output. You will get drops in busy areas but it should give playable framerates for the most part.Hey squad. Does anyone know the best settings for visuals and performance for an 14900ks and rtx 4090?
Decided to buy this game. It's very difficult. Your staff does maybe 1-2% damage, yet bosses have an insane amount of health, and kill you in 3 hits.
I also don't find the controls very responsive. Coming from Ghost of Tsushima, Wukong feels horrible to play.
Any tips/advice?

It's really not that hard early on though and bosses don't 3-shot you. Your staff also does decent damage against every Chapter 1 boss, so I have no idea where you got that 1-2% damage against bosses with an insane amount of health. Chapter 1 bosses are manageable and don't have a very large health pool. How far are you and did you upgrade your character?Decided to buy this game. It's very difficult. Are you on PC or PS5? If on PS5, you should probably play Balanced Mode. If on PC, you should try to be at 40fps+ before toggling DLSS frame generation. Don't forget that Reflex only works with DLSS, which is only available on RTX 40 cards and above. If you turn on AMD Frame Generation, you'll just get significantly more latency without Reflex.I also don't find the controls very responsive. I've got an RTX 4080. I could not see any options for Reflex. Performance for the game doesn't seem great but I'm assuming this is all the fault of UE5. I'm using DLSS @ 55%, a mixture of very high and high settings, only getting 80FPS at 4K. There is also a LOT of pop in.It's really not that hard early on though and bosses don't 3-shot you. It's enabled automatically when you toggle frame generation, which really sucks. It should be separate.I've got an RTX 4080. I could not see any options for Reflex
Oh, yeah, some Chapter 2 bosses such as Tiger Vanguard are fairly challenging. I figured you were in Chapter 1. As for going with Rock Solid, I find it a bit middling compared to Cloud Step that just lets you check out from the fight for a few seconds and gives you some precious time to heal and apply buffs. I also believe you should have upgraded your staff by now.I found the bosses in Chapter 2 to be very frustrating.
In truth the game does not tell you much about 'how to play'. I've figured out some combo moves (X X X Y + Y) and have respec'd my character - the game is more tolerable now. Also, using 'rock solid' to parry seems to help a ton.
Too bad we can't use both cloud step and rock solid. It's enabled automatically when you toggle frame generation, which really sucks. It should be separate.

How do you know what bosses you have beat - or are due to beat? Is there an easy way to track this in game?Finished it last weekend. What a game!
48 hours. All bosses and secret ending.
Not one I will be replaying because I think it's a bit too big and tiring. I prefer replaying shorter games.
BUT MAN. What a masterpiece
Yeah there is in-game tracker with unique pictures and descritption for each enemy and boss. How do you know what bosses you have beat - or are due to beat? Is there an easy way to track this in game?
Nice summary, I agree it goes on for too long. What started like a nice game with its own twist on the souls formula, has devolved into a checklist, "gotta just finish it 'cause I can't do it anymore" game for me...
See, the real problem with this game aren't the invisible walls but the levels themselves :
- Branching path after branching path after branching path...
- Level design isn't good, sure, levels look nice and atmospheric (plus, that art direction) but, gameplay wise they might as well be interconnected hallways.
- That invisible walls thing...is actually a detriment to the whole level design and its readability since you don't really know if you can actually jump down or not from a few (in-game) meters away sucking the whole exploration fun out of the game since you're scouring every inch of the map like a maniac thinking if that specific part of the map is actually interactive or not.
Chapter 3 (snow area) and chapter 4 were especially bad when it comes to this.
- Levels feel more like checklist gauntlets than actual levels : there's no fun in it, you're basically doing the usual boss/sub-boss rush thing while trying to find all the secret chests /secret sub-bosses spirits (those with the blue glow), it becomes OCD inducing after X hours...
Most importantly though, the game just outstays its welcome, shit, I'm level 91 with 50+ hours and I've just started chapter 5, and to be honest, after the chapter 5 bullshit with Yellow Loong, Scorpion lord, 2-phase zombie bird and final chapter boss (100 eyes dude) I think I've had my fill, I just don't have the courage anymore to continue playing it but, knowing me, I won't be able to start a different game if I don't finish this fucking game first.
Again, it starts nice but after X hours the game becomes a slog due to the not so good level design, difficulty spikes ahoy and general fuckery.
It looks good, the art direction is really nice, there's some cool vistas and bosses but...it just goes on and on and on and on...
Just do the main stuff then. You mentioned Scorpionlord, Duskveil, and Yellow Loong, they’re all optional. The game can be completed in about 30 hours if you stick to the main story. With all the side content, you’re looking at a solid 50 hours. What started like a nice game with its own twist on the souls formula, has devolved into a checklist, "gotta just finish it 'cause I can't do it anymore" game for me...

On the pc it's no better. What the hell is up with the shadow draw-in of this game on PS5? I'm playing on PS5 PRO and shadows fade out a few FEET in front of the player!! It's a joke and the worst I've seen in a game. Yet somehow this was labeled as a "great PS5 Pro update" by gamers and here on NeoGaf?! What gives?
