boss fight supposed to be a joke? They keep repeating that he's impossible to kill but he was dead before they could finish their sentence on the radio. I don't think I even got hit once....

I thought special mob npcs respawned? I was in Frostburn Canyon and killed Scorch without knowing it was a challenge. So I reset the game and go back in, and he doesn't respawn. I really don't have to wait for a second playthrough to get that challenge do I?

I'm also glad that I didn't knee-jerk buy the season pass. I get the shitty feeling that at least one of them may contain more of those broken arenas and/or timed missions. Timed missions like these are never good. Never. They feel like busy work in this game, and I don't need busy work.

I'm with you on the save system. Single player should not be treated liked the online coop. Give it a adequate save system. I fucking hate it.

Ok something weird going on. BL2 on PC is constantly saving, the save icon won't go away. I can't travel it says "Riggs attempted to travel but Riggs is saving".

Restarted game and same thing!!!

Any ideas?

Stop the game and run a chkdsk on whatever drive the saves are on(should be same drive with your profile I think).

I have to say that I liked Bordelands 1 a lot more the this one so far...only level 10 so maybe thats the problem but all the little things that annoyed me in the first are back...like the freakin skags,didn't Gearbox notice on most forums and feedback from the first that everyone hated those freaking birds?? what do they do in 2? they add more of them all the time all over the place...the game is hard as hell,making the respawning of ennemies very annoying this time around but the worst of all is that I keep running out of ammo,something that rarely happened in the first game....very frustrating game so far,not sure I will stick with it...

If it's the one I'm thinking, all you need to do is just open all the mailboxes first before retrieving the item. The timer is still paused and you receive more time as well for each mailbox opened. Made it pretty easy.

That's the toughest timed quest I've found so far. The rest have been easy since each objective added more than a full minute to my current time. Zed's was a bitch though and it took me 4 tries. There's hardly any room for error.

The quests I hate the most are, as usual for video games, the escort/protection ones. Having things hinge on some defenseless AI is always incredibly annoying.

I'm assuming you mean Rakk and not skags, but they aren't super hard to kill, just wait til they come straight on at you. And you'll be able to upgrade your ammo capacity soon enough.

If you get a shield that has environmental effects the Rakks just hit you and die.

But yeah, the Rakks are annoying. Almost as annoying as the Kryll from Gears of War.

I think I've gotten every skin from the slot machine.... No Maliwan?

Probably have spent 100k there and not one orange weapon payout or Marcus lineup. :(

I'm completely with you, with regard to the difficulty. It basically forces me, regardless of character, to use sniper's mostly...

After several tries, I killed all the enemies first and then run for it. Either way, I hated it.

Yeah I pretty much look everywhere everytime I go back to Sanctuary. Just sucks that I completly forgot about the NPC so I only started looking for him while I was level 14. Anyway, I'm progressing through the story right now so it might huh...get a bit more difficult to find him for a little while lol.

Finally found my first legendary when starting a new character.

It's a MIRV grenade that explodes into 6 smaller grenades, and when it is done it launches 6 more grenades after the fact.

Finally got to the bottom of the Cataclysm tree for Maya. Finally ability is so good, its taking out Goliaths and stuff in one Phaselock by itself.

maybe dumb question but is there a way to reset my skills (on PC)? I think I spread them a little too thin and I want to get to the deeper abilities

At one of the new you stations. There is an option to reset your skill points. Bad-Ass points are permanent though.

I found most of the boss fights in the game to be absolutely pathetic. Not that there aren't difficult things in the game (the Hyperion Circle of Death is next to impossible) but the main story quests were very easy.

oh nice, I assume there's one in that first town, Sanctuary?

also anyone know where the slot machines are in Sanctuary? I ran around but couldnt find them

At ~$20k in tips she will give you an SMG. I did it at level 35 and got a 34 purple caustic SMG that was pretty good. Not worth the money earlier on I don't think, but later it's decent.
