As far as the comparisons to CoD4 goes, I can see preferring CoD4 if you like more simplicity, but other than that, I think MW2 is much more balanced, rewarding(in terms of leveling up), and just a bit more 'personal' as the great amount of customization allows you to really play in soooo many different ways(which is something that I think causes a lot of complaints, as people are used to going up against enemies with a more limited amount of playstyles).
